My new fav restaurant

The stuffed roti was amazing. Their house made jerk seitan was some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. I want to eat here every day

All plant based now !

They had some good vegan items before going completely plant based but now they have reopened with a fully plant based menu!
I wouldn’t say it’s authentic Jamaican food, but good Jamaican-inspired food!
My fav items on the menu so far are the curry waffle fries, seitan wings, and the lo mein with seitan !
Some of the Jamaican spiced food loses its flavor profile by being a little too overspiced and unbalanced (too much nutmeg and some kind of capsaicin spice), but mostly very good!!
My friend is a vegan chef and these are the critiques she had about it, so I thought I’d include them!
Thank you to the owners for going fully plant based!!!

Pros: Seitan made in house yum, Crazy cocktail menu, Very fast

Tons of options!

Love this place - we went for dinner on a Sunday night. Wasn't too busy and most of the items are able to be made vegan. Everything was delicious! We'll be back for sure!

Pros: Tons of vegan options, Good for groups

Cons: Waitress wasn't the best

Amazing options

This places has turned the tables for us vegetarians. Instead of sifting through the menu to find the few veggie choices, the menu is filled with a variety of great vegetarian and vegan dishes - but also happens to offer good options for your friends & family who just can’t give up meat😉The vibe is cool, the people friendly, and the food... I go back for time and again. A great neighborhood find that I’m sure will become a long-time staple!

Pros: Great food , Neighborhood vibe, Friendly atmosphere

Great vibe & food

It’s got a cool vibe and they have so many vegan options! The tajadas were good...but a big meal! The service was great and apparently they have vegan donuts (starting at 7am!)

Cool atmosphere, but the food was gross

We had high hopes for this place but alas, the food was super disappointing. We got the seitan cubano and the vegan breakfast hash. The cubano was completely flavorless except for an overwhelming amount of yellow mustard and the hash had so much flavor that I couldn't process what I was eating. Definitely not authentic caribbean/Jamaican food. I liked the decor, and the cocktails looked rad, but I won't be returning for food.

Pros: Homemade seitan

Cons: Expensive for bad tasting food.

Curry n’ Seitan Wings!!

Really cool vibes here and great options for vegans. I don’t remember the name of my entree, but it was one of the curries. My friend and I also shared an appetizer of seitan wings.

The wings were really tough on the outside, but the flavor was exceptional. The curry was fantastic as well - a little spicy but not too much. I got the mildest one I could so if you like spice, you can definitely get it.

Put a dance floor in this place and it will be perfect!

Pros: Great vegan options, Cool atmosphere

Cons: Expensive , Needs a dance floor!

So good

The atmosphere was pretty cool and the food was so good I got the wings and I would definitely recommend this place to someone that's vegan and looking for cajun food!

Best Vegan Wings in Denver Hands Down!

Found this place by accident and I will definitely be back! They make their own seitan and it is fantastic. Three different kinds of wings, and lots of great vegan options on the menu. Might be the best Caribbean food I've ever had. They have a dedicated vegan fryer and kitchen work station. The bartender was super sweet (sorry I forgot her name!) and the drink menu is fun. Highly recommended. Great food without the hipster attitude. Thank goodness!

Pros: Housemade Seitan, Dedicated Vegan Fryer, Many Creative Vegan Options!

Cons: none

Fun place with a good amount of vegan options

We were in Denver Saturday and tried this place for dinner. We got there around 6:45pm and there was NO WAIT!!! The place is really big and attracts a real mix of folks. There were families, large groups downing cocktails, etc. It was loud, so not the place for an intimate conversation.

The vegan wings were SUPER tasty. But, it was a true appetizer portion--not a meal. The 'wings' were served with some really spicy sauce and a pineapple salsa.

For entrees, my hubby got the jackfruit roti wrap which was HUGE. He liked it, but I felt the flavor was a bit one-note. Maybe ask for some of their yummy salsas or sauces on the side. I liked my choice: bowl of coconut peas & peppers, but I evidently got the last portion. The waitress said they sell out fairly regularly.

Evidently, this restaurant sells vegan donuts, but all of them were gone, so we'll have to stop by earlier in the future.

Pros: Large--no wait even on weekend nights, Good selection of vegan options, Lots of fun-looking cocktails

Cons: Loud, Limited parking

Fun and Funky in Denver

Such a fun restaurant! They are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even late night food. They serve meat, but there are LOTS of vegetarian options with most having a vegan option as well. The donuts are all vegan, made in-house and delicious. I tried the brown sugar cinnamon and passion fruit donuts with a cappuccino. I also tried the plantain chips and dips for lunch, which was great. Will definitely be coming back for dinner to try lots of other Caribbean veg options. The service was excellent and the decor is super colorful and fun!

Pros: Lots of veg options, Cool decor and atmosphere , Vegan donuts

Cons: None so far
