Delicious Vegan - Edit
Been here a few times love that they have vegan options specifically labeled on their menu. Street parking available (metered and free - if you don’t mind a short walk). Friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. The have an ice cream bar inside (sorbet available). They also sell Merch.
Read moreI started with Guacamole. Fresh homemade chips. Tasty and filling. Nice serving size (big enough to share with someone else). I ordered the Began Hippie Bowl. Looked like a small serving size but I was wrong. That small dish packed a punch with flavor and it was filling and satisfying. I would enjoy repeating that again. I’ve always enjoyed my meals here. Looking forward to returning.

The hippie bowl & the street tacos are both great. If they made a vegan version of their chipotle cream sauce it would knock these dishes out of the park.

My bowl was delicious. Didn’t feel awesome after the chips so I don’t know if I’d get them again. Probably too fried. But the bowl was great. It’s BYOB if you want to drink!

My husband and I had a Rice Bowl and Taco Salad both with tempeh and made vegan. The Taco Salad was a couple pieces of tempeh, tomatoes, shredded iceberg lettuce, and a few green onions in the edible shell! It was pretty expensive and dry - boring!!

You’re right! The beauty of a taco salad is for meat lovers. The saucy seasoned ground beef or pulled chicken that the dish is built around is the true flavor of the taco salad. The tempeh would have been yummy on our chopped salad which features roasted corn and bean salsa, organic greens, cilantro slaw, pico, and our homemade cilantro lime vinegarette dressing. Sorry you didn’t have a better experience, I hope you give us another try- no tempeh anymore, we now feature a spicy roasted veg mix with cauliflower and sweet potatoes. So good in tacos, burritos and on salads and bowls. We also grow our own sunflower sprouts for our bowls. Hope to see you again.
