Soo many options - Edit
Lots of vegan options, clearly labelled with an English menu if needed, to order directly on tablet screen. Owner was lovely, mentioned they also own Sai Cafe nearby. I ordered the edamame, grilled rice ball, fried noodles and akashi-yaki. All very delicious.

Welcoming Izakaya in Himeji with friendly staff and a vegan menu comprising around 7 vegan dishes. Reasonably priced, decent portions, and absolutely tasty!

Friendly staff and a clearly labeled vegan menu with lots of options. The food wasn't particularly impressive though. Not bad, just not great. But it was great having a restaurant with so many vegan options in Himeji where the vegan options are few and far between.

Such good luck to find this place. The staff were so helpful and the vegan options were clearly labelled. This was one of our favourite places for dinner in Japan. A real gem.

Vegan items clearly listed on menu - Edit
In the vegetarian menu (available in English) 3 items were clearly listed as vegan. This is great for those of us with limited Japanese language skills because it makes it easy to order. My partner and I each got a different item and shared. It was all really good and the staff was very friendly.

Staff is absolutely lovely, the atmosphere is very relaxed and nice. It has a vegan section with a few dishes. The quality of the food is good and the dishes are pretty tasty.

We had the vegan yakisoba udon noodles and the garbanzo curry and rice. Also edamame. They also have nonalcoholic beer.

Great Veggie Platter - Edit
I had the veg yaki udon and it was delicious! There are some other appetizers like mushrooms and edamame which are also nice. The staff was super friendly and the owner even came up to us and talked bout our trip. We even received origami cranes from him. Very lively restaurant with lots of locals, with an open kitchen.

I came in and the manager just knew i was looking for vegan food (seems happy cow helps). The yaki udon i had were just amazing. Very welcoming staff and nice interior.

Guests can enjoy Vegan cuisine in a traditional izakaya style. - Edit
5-minute walk from Himeji Castle. A very friendly owner welcomed me. The restaurant is popular with local Japanese, and you can eat local Himeji cuisine at Vegan. In particular, udon, oden and tempura were the best. I will come again.
