SO GOOD - Edit
im vegan and just tried this place for the first time. ive lived in the area for a long time. and never knew this was here until it popped up on instagram. their croissants are AMAZING! some of the best ive ever had , and ive been to vegan bakery across Canada, USA, London, and even Paris. this is the best one yet. PLEASE PLEASE give this place a try. i swear its worth it. such a beautiful spot, so romantic and calm and such a hidden jem. if you are vegan or even non vegan and crave croissants or bakery items YOU MUST COMEEEE this place is amazing. i recommend the TWICE BAKED CROISSANT taste similar to a almond croissant. its really good. my favorite thing yet! the service was very helpful and kind as well! definitely 100000/10. DOESNT LET ME GIVE 5 STARS BUT SHOULD BE 5

Unbelievable! - Edit
Found this place a couple years after Eater LA proclaimed their croissant the best croissant in LA —which just happens to be vegan! The cookies, croissants, and buns here are delicious and very “buttery”. The place is a kiosk in an outdoor mall. There’s a coffee place right there that’s also excellent and if you get a coffee you can sit there to eat pastries.

These pastries are divine - Edit
It’s a little hard to find Baker’s Bench when you walk into the Far East Plaza because it’s so unassuming, but once you try it you’ll never forget it. Like, if I could eat here every day I would. Their Instagram says “mostly vegan” but when I came here there wasn’t anything non-vegan available - they must just be reserving the option. And while they make multiple types of desserts, their real specialty is anything flaky - croissants, danishes, raisin snails, and the like.
