Delicious, beautiful, great service - Edit
Super pretty, authentic Omani restaurant. They have a separate page of veg options and the kidney beans in coconut cream sauce were a particular hot. Nice welcome with frankincense water, and free dates and coffee as desert😄#Veganuary

Super Rund-Um-Erfahrung - Edit

Exquisite experience - Edit
Hidden in an alley and on the 2nd floor, this restaurant is an unassuming delight by the Muscat corniche. There is a choice for traditional Omani seating (on floor mats with a low table) or for chairs and tables. You’re welcomed with complimentary frankincense water and sent off with a rose water hand wash. It’s an exquisite experience.
Read moreThe vegetarian options are marked and descriptions of the dishes make it clear what is vegan. We went for a Zanzibari dish & Omani vegetable dish, and Omani coffee.
The portions are large and the meals come with rice/bread (the date bread was a delicious surprise). The coffee was exquisite and came with an enormous helping of Omani dates. The price is well well worth it for the experience and vegan options — not to mention for Oman! Our bill was around £25. A must if you’re in Muscat.
Pros: Atmosphere, Vegan options, Location

Best food in Muscat - Edit
I tried all of their vegan dishes and came four times in a week. Kidney beans with coconut milk, okra with tomato sauce are great. Lentil soup is perfect. Staff is super friendly.

Traditional atmosphere, vegan options - Edit
Very traditional atmosphere with low tables and on the floor sitting. Separate vegetarian menu with vegan options as e.g. kidney beans curry and tomato stew with several different rice and bread side dishes. Super friendly staff and quite cheap (3.400 OMR for my huuuge main dish). Very delicious! We directly booked a table for the next day.
