Homemade Tofu

Homemade tofu is the best. Noodle bowls are really good, spring rolls also.

Pros: Tofu , Good pricing

Not veg friendly

This place isn’t really all that good, and I’ve been told that their bread isn’t vegan.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Probably not vegan friendly

Albuquerque just keeps getting better

The missus and I have been enjoying our time here in Albuquerque and a waitress at another vegan restaurant recommended Bahn Mi Coda. I am so glad she did, We both had the rice noodle bowl. She had onion tofu plain, I had the onion tofu with Korean BBQ sauce. The veggies were fresh and tasty. They make their own tofu and it was delicious. I brought a few pieces home to have tomorrow. We ordered the tofu spring rolls and they came with a peanut sauce that was great The gem though was a coconut flour and sugar based ball that was filled with a mung bean paste. Man, they were good. I brought home a banana cake that I was told was only around during the weeks around Chinese New Year. Its wrapped in banana leaves. Its like a rice pudding cake with banana. Can’t wait t go back.

Pros: Tofu made there, Very inexpensive, Friendly server

So good, so cheap!

This might be my favorite place to grab prepared food in all of Albuquerque. I’ll often eat one Bahn Mi sandwich and then purchase one to go for later. Also sesame balls. Also sweet sticky rice.

Pros: Many vegan options, Cheap!
