Great shop with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. - Edit
Our food was great, the service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the setting in downtown Marquette across the street from the old city hall was amazing.

Soft Muffins - Edit
We gotan apple nut muffin to share and it was very tasty. Sort of reminded us of banana bread, but in spongy cake form. The large muffin was a good afternoon snack for 2.

Vegan options - Edit
Didn’t have a lot of vegan options the day we went there but tried a vegan muffin and a grilled veggie vegan sandwich. Both were very good! Coffee was also good and the had several options of non dairy creamer. Person that waited on us was very nice!

Roasted With Love - Edit
I never got to try the TST, but their newer vegan sandwich, roasted with love, features colorful roasted veggies on fluffy focaccia bread - I loved it! They also had a yummy vegan berry muffin.

Destination vegan chocolate muffin - Edit
The vegan chocolate muffin was the best muffin I’ve ever had, of any ilk. I’m considering driving six hours back for another.

No longer offers TST - Edit
Babycakes still has a number of vegan options including muffins, a cookie and a sweet potato salad. They have replaced the TST with another vegan panini Roasted With Love. I'm not a fan of red pepper or onion and it was a bit oily for me but others might love it. It comes with potato crisps which my husband ate. The worker showed me the packet and the ingredients seemed vegan but the package doesn't say vegan. The double chocolate vegan muffin was delicious. I also had a nice organic mint tea. They have a few different plant milks too. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Quaint and kind - Edit
A cozy, warm and friendly bakery with a copious amount of baked goods. Not a huge selection of vegan options, but those that were, had clear indications. Aside from premise sandwiches and baked goods, were a little section of pré made cold dishes. Delicious Pad Thai!

Delicious and Filling Sandwich - Edit
My vegan family of 4 decided to get lunch here while we were in town and the TLT (Tofu Lettuce Tomato) was delicious. The creamy garlic dressing on the sandwich was amazing. It was the only vegan sandwich offered, and 3 out of 4 family members loved it. We got it toasted, and they even took the tomatoes off for my children before toasting it (my children are weird and don't like tomatoes). We also purchased the only 2 vegan muffin options, which were blueberry and lemon poppyseed, both delicious. While I was there, I also noticed an item in the fridge section that was vegan, although I didn't buy it; a cold oats cup that had maple syrup and fruit in it, made with soy milk.

Went back twice... - Edit
Loved this spot! Their vegan TST (tofu/spinach/tomato) sandwich is great and the vegan double chocolate was amazing. Also had one of the best cold brew coffees I’ve had, and offered multiple non dairy milk alternatives. Stopped in when we got to town and again the next day before we left.

Delicious options! - Edit
There are usually 2-4 vegan sweets options (my husband loves all of them - especially the chocolate - chocolate chip muffin). Unfortunately the vegan sweets sell out quick so you have to arrive earlier in the day. They typically have one vegan soup option, some wraps, and the TST(tomato, spinach, tofu) which is my absolute favorite! It has a creamy garlic sauce and when it's toasted the bread is crunchy and savory on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Read moreTheir food is a little expensive for me, but worth it every so often.
I like their black coffee - but they also have a wide variety of plant based milks (with an upcharge).
The line is often difficult to navigate because it's in the middle of the cafe with seating on either side, and when it's busy(which it often is) it can be very crowded and hectic.
On slow days, this is my favorite place to visit with friends.
Pros: Vegan options, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff
Cons: Lack of seating/space, v items run out quick, $

Several vegan sandwiches and 3 vegan muffins (plus plenty of plant milks for coffee). I wanted more vegan options in the desserts and baked goods, but the muffins we're delicious. We'd go back.
