Not only does Baadshah have a restaurant downtown, but they also have a take out restaurant at the UofL in the Students Union Building. The hours are a bit iffy, but they are always open for lunch. A single serving of potato curry with rice will cost you about $3.50 and contains no dairy. you can also get veggie samosas for $2.50 each. The naan bread does contain milk so if you have an allergy or are vegan this isn't an option for you. I definitely love going to baadshah's every once in a while or when I forget to pack lunch and need something that will last me well into evening classes.

Good Indian food - Edit
Have come here a few times with friends, appreciate the labelling of vegan items.
Read moreAloo tiki with channa- best I've ever had!
Aloo gobi- great
Channa- great
Bhartha (eggplant)- too much tomato + onion
Bhindi (okra)- didn't like it, was more than 50% onions
My friends really liked their veg samosas.
(They have an express location in the University of Lethbridge, which usually has 3 veg options with 2 that are vegan)
Pros: Decent price, Not too oily, Friendly + knowledgeable
Cons: Some dishes are great others are ok
