Cafe and mini-mart within The Shores apartment complex but is open to the public. Offers grab style prepared salads, bowls, and snacks. Thursdays from 5-7pm is happy hour with appetizer menu of nachos, baked samosas, and small plates. Makes its own brand of dressings and sauces. Closed Feb 2017.

So good to see another vegan cafe open up. Here's my AVO Cafe review. It's a bit odd that it's inside an enclosed apartment complex, but the cafe is open to the public, so just tell the guard that you're going there. Mostly you'll see grab-n-go prepared food (various salads and bowls), and there are drinks and snack foods. All vegan and organic, and you get to an ocean view. I liked the baked curry pie/samosa.
