Okay options but need to put them on the menu! - Edit
Similarly to Hotel Punta Islita's main restaurant Alma (see review) they facilitated a great vegan lunch on the second day after a disappointing first lunch.
Read moreThe first day we had guacamole with cassava chips and fries. Okay but a ridiculously small portion given the price tag. The only other option on the actual menu was a poke bowl. For the second lunch we'd asked the hotel if we could get some better options and they made us cauliflower tacos and potato croquettes (more like fritters). Both were good and frustrating that they can't just have these as options on the menu clearly marked !!
The bar in the swimming pool was nice. Good amount of loungers and cabanas (extra cost). Decent iced coffees.
