Greater Melbourne chain of gelato shops offering vegan ice cream flavors including chocolate coconut, coconut mango and banana peanut butter chocolate chip. A selection of vegan sorbets is also available. Cones are palm oil free and suitable for vegans. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-11:00pm.

Heaps of vegan options - Edit

Augustus Gelateri has lots of vegan ice cream and gelati options, which are clearly labelled. The waffle cones are also vegan! I love the vegan pana chocolate brownie ice cream and the vegan banana peanut butter ice cream. They used to have a vegan black forest ice cream, and if they ever bring that back that's my strong recommendation!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Yummy ice creams, Plenty of space to sit indoors/outdoors

Cons: Quite pricey

Amazing quality and unique flavours. I love the gingerbread. I hope they do bubblegum one day.

They discontinued the gingerbread😒other flavours still amazing but that was my favourite!

Helpful staff and delicious gelato - Edit

Four gelato flavours were clearly marked as plant-based (coconut and mango, black forest, gingerbread, and banana/peanut butter/chocolate). Staff also had an allergens list which helped us easily identify GF options for a friend. I had the gingerbread (delicious) and the banana/PB one (even MORE delicious).
