This place is a mess if you are vegan. On their website they have marked vegan items, that aren't even vegan. Things with butter and creme in them, are labelled Vegan.
The naan is labelled vegan, but has butter on it.
Then, when you dine in, the menu in the restaurant has nothing labelled.
We were served by a woman who literally had little clue about what items were vegan, or could be made. She spoke little English. Then there's a whole rigmarole of her getting someone else to help.
We finally figured out what were vegan options (allegedly), but with a lot of fuss. There are only really a few options available. Even though their website states that they can make anything vegan with substitutes. Yet that is not actually the case.
When the food finally arrived, which was a very long wait, even on a Monday. The food was tasteless, slop.
Ive eaten Indian food all over the world. This was just bland, mushy veg and no spices, or flavour.
Avoid this place if you expect to find many vegan options. Or trust that they are even truly vegan. Waste of time and money.
Shiraaz, as with many Indian restaurants, have a great vegetarian menu. The staff here will be able to let you know which dishes are already vegan/ensure they are made vegan. The wholemeal roti is a good vegan option for bread too. Really yummy food, great when you can share with friends, and really good prices! The staff are also lovely.
