Fun experience

The food was good. Not a big menu. The tofu sushi options were very tasty. And the seaweed salad was my favorite. The veggie ones were a little plain and boring. The experience of ordering on a tablet and having a robot bring it to you was fun.i went for lunch and it is an all you can eat, at night there’s a buffet. This one was a smaller restaurant with less options. There is one in Kolding with more options, not too far away.

Pros: Fun experience , Cleanliness, Presentation

Great variety of options and delicious

Sushi might not be your first choice when coming to Denmark but this place is absolutely fantastic.
The waiter was super nice and they have 2 completely vegan sushi menus.
So much more than the old boring Avocado or cucumber roll.
Really great taste!
If you have eit for take away you can sit at the river and enjoy it!

All you can eat

There are very few places to eat in Billund, let alone places with vegan options. And here has a few, so you are probably likely to eat here.
It is an all you can eat buffet, and order as much sushi as you want (provided you don’t over order, they don’t like food waste, so be sure you’re going to be able to eat it all otherwise they will charge you extra).
Honestly, nothing actually has ‘vegan’ written anywhere, so it’s hard to be fully sure, you may be guessing a little in the buffet. There are safe things like vegetable stir fry, some rice, fries, but don’t get tempted by the fried rings- they are NOT onion rings!
They will bring you an English translation if needed to help you order sushi, and there are standard ones like cucumber and avocado rolls etc. but we ordered one veggie one that didn’t say cream cheese, but it did have it inside. So be wary.
All that said, the sushi is actually nice.
It is also quite an expensive meal due to being all you can eat. The price is 259kr so around £30. Also in the cost front, they even charge for ginger and wasabi!

Pros: All you can eat

Cons: Hard to tell what is vegan, Expensive (and I rarely say that!)

Not great

On the positive side, you can eat vegan. Some of the food is good. On the negative: besides a few things, you can not choose comfortably what is vegan, even after talking with the staff. The portions are also small and the staff is not too friendly.

All you can eat but what are you eating?

Great concept, all you can eat, but if it is not 100% clear wat is vegan and what not, it becomes a big problem. We ate a lot but did not try 80% of the sushi because it was not labelled well. It was delicious and at the same time very frustrating.

Pros: Great concept ordering with an ipad., Friendly staff.

Cons: Not clear what is in the food, Better labelling is a must, especially the sushi, Great potential.

Really nice sushi

All you can eat sushi. When I asked about vegan options, they said that I could order anything vegetarian and they'd make sure it came out vegan. Mostly it was removing the cream cheese.

Very tasty sushi and decent amount of vegan choices. I recommend the kimchi sauce on the side.
