Cute vibe, good vegan options - Edit
Although limited number of options, the few they do have are delicious! The risotto and fava bean dip are fab. Loved the seating space, right in the old town.

Le dip de crème de fève : un délice à partager.
Le boulgour était succulent.
Le risotto de champignons aussi.
Nous n’avons pas pu terminer car les portions sont très copieuses.
L’addition était toutefois franchement très correcte pour la qualité servie, le confort et le service.

We came here after checking their menu online. They take traditional dishes and modernize them with a crazy spin of flavors and ingredients. Only two negative points: they clearly divide between vegan and vegetarian dishes in the menu (one leave or two leaves symbol) but during ordering the waiter informed us about dairy ingredients in the vegan dishes but they can be kept out in the kitchen; second thing would be how close the tables are to each other, even for Greek conditions. Besides that we loved the whole experience. We ordered fava, steamed greens, sauteed mushrooms and the bulgur. I can't gush enough about those dishes. You just have to try them. So unique and different with unexpected ingredients and flavors. Huge compliment to the chef.

Great place with veg options - Edit
There aren't many places where you can eat vegan in Crete, Greece. We were so happy to find this restaurant in Rethymno that we came back two times in a row.
Read moreThe staff is super friendly and know very well the menu. This is great because they know exactly which dishes can be made vegan. There are quite a few vegetarian options as well.
And last but not least : the food was so good.
