Two well-lit rooms (one with A/C) each seats about 50. Indian and Chinese food, complimentary hot tea. English spoken. Location is approx. 200 meters west of Thiruvananthapuram central railway station on the north side of Thampanoor street. Huge signs out front. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-10:30pm.

Aryass park vegetarian

A little hard to find as G maps was wrong. It's located on the main road not the side street. The food is delicious, we had a Thali plate which was restocked during our meal. Coffee is good, place is very clean, toilets also.

Nice place to eat

We really enjoyed our meal here. The food was reasonably priced and some people spoke english. It seems to be very busy which speaks well for the restaurant. Many vegan dishes on the menu but it is not listed as vegan so you have to do a bit of questioning

Pros: Food served quickly and hot. Lots of vegan options, waiters spoke english

Cons: When you sit in ac the menu is more expensive

Good Food in Pleasant Setting

The menu has the usual South Indian specialties plus Chinese dishes done Indian Style. I had Malai Kofta (a dish I often order in the US) and I thought it was excellent (145 Rupees or a little more than $2 US). The complementary tea was good. I had the one chapati (25 Rupees), and fresh lemon juice (27 Rupees). The Malai Kofta was a reasonably large serving. So, a good meal in a pleasant environment, close the the main train and bus stations. But, it's definitely in the medium price range, not cheap for India. There were plenty of people eating there on a Thursday evening.

Pros: Clean and pleasant, Has Indian style Chinese food, Food tastes quite good
