Hidden treasure. - Edit
A bit out of the way but easy to find with Google maps. Staff speak no English but used Google translate to communicate. Had a mushroom hot pot and it was amazing. Every kind of mushroom you could imagine. So tasty and huge portions.

Nice, cheap food - Edit
We had dinner here, very nice and cheap menu. The sushi isn’t like the sushi we know, but also good. It was very cheap, we had 4 dishes for around 80k Dong. Everything was delicious.

Un jus de fruit, un plat de stuffed cakes (sortes de spring rolls frais), un plat de bean sprouts fresh tofu et du riz pour la modique somme de 50 000 dôngs. Pas mieux.

Good food at a decent price - Edit
Went here for dinner and it was very busy. Probably a good sign! I ordered the cheaper noodle soup (15k) and one of the stuffed rolls (turned out to be a rice noodle fried outside? Not really sure!). Both were tasty, and for the price it was very decent.
Read moreJust be aware that the dip for the stuffed rolls looked to be chilli (which was fine) and mayo (which was not).
It’s in a nice location, and good to have two floors. Though I was very warm by the end of my meal!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Good food, Cheap
Cons: Not fully vegan, Quite a warm restaurant

Don’t go here if you’re vegan - Edit
They don’t speak English or understand the term vegan. Rats running all around outside, the rice cakes were not edible, they were literally rice paper rolled with some sort of orange sprinkles??? You really get what you pay for.. the deep fried tofu was okay, one of our meals didn’t even come and they brought out a random dish we didn’t even order. Tasted like the veggies were fried in butter, the rice noodle salad dish was okay.
Read morePros: Rice noodle dish was 5/10
Cons: Rats, No English, Some food wasn’t edible

Alley restaurant - Edit
This is a veggie restaurant at the end of an alley. It’s not too far off the main street, and once you turn into the alley, you can’t miss it—they have a giant blinking light up sign announcing their presence.
Read moreI had a noodle soup that was pretty good. It wasn’t the best noodle soup I’ve had, but that’s in part because I didn’t order a particularly flavorful variety. I would go back to try some of their other offerings.
Also, the service was nice and friendly. The staff working there greeted me with a smile and wished me well as I left, which is cheerier treatment than I’ve had elsewhere in Vietnam.
Pros: Nice staff

The place is really nice and quiet. Staff don't speak english so much but they are nice. Food is good, not the most tasty but it is ok. (Depends a lot what you pick) Prices are really cheap.

This place is easy to find if you use google maps. I arrived and the lady was super nice and friendly. Two story restaurant and is very clean. I had the mushroom hot pot and fried tofu. Small size hot pot is definitely enough for two people I didn’t believe her but I left with a very full stomach. It was very tasty and super cheap. All my food was 80dong which is a massive value for money. Highly recommend.

Hue's Vegan Secret @July2017 - Edit
Although hidden away from the main street this restaurant is a superb place to get your vegan food. Meals fresh and tasty, coffee fresh-brewed and of the highest standard. Owner doesn't speak English (just some French), but this is not an issue (picture menu). Prices more than affordable: 15k dong for soup or salad with noodles, dinner for two with coffee cost us 54 dong (water is complimentary). Amazing price/value ratio! Will come back daily. All food is vegan. They do not serve alcohol.
