Known for Vegan Moussaka - Edit
We went for lunch on a Wednesday but despite their website saying they were open they were actually closed! Such a shame as apparently the vegan moussaka is the best in the island! Will try again another day.!!

Great vegan moussaka and some vegan starters can make a decent dinner for two - Edit
The vegan moussaka was the best I’ve ever tried (so creamy). There are a few clearly labelled vegan starters like hummus, aubergine dip, and grilled vegetables (no desserts or other mains). Makes a decent dinner for two, and the waterfront restaurant has a lovely view of the lagoon. Worth going at least once.

Poor for vegans - Edit
Went here due to seeing they had good vegan options... Couldn't be futher from the truth.
Read moreVegan options were as follows:
-pesto pasta (said it came with vegan parmesan but waitress said they don't do it)
-chickpea fritters
-hummus
-salad
NO mousaka, even asked. Overall a very boring meal & wish we hadn't wasted our time. However, our waitress was lovely & service was good.
Pros: Good service , Harbour view
Cons: Vegan options are rubbish, Available vegans dishes aren't as advised , Expensive

We had the same problem with the Mousaka in low season/start of the year.

We loved our dinner - Edit
We feel lucky to have heard about this restaurant. We walked along the waterfront and found it easily. We were seated right away. We both really loved all the items we had. Vegan choices 😋

Unimpressed mediocre food and pricey but some clearly marked vegan items - Edit
We went there as recommended on happy cow but were unimpressed.
Read moreThere are a few clearly marked vegan items but the vegan pasta was bland. It was also expensive and we felt rushed to finish, they took our drink away whilst not finished!
The vegan moussaka was however very nice
Pros: Clearly marked vegan items , Nice location in Argostoli near harbour
Cons: Pricey, Vegan pasta uninspiring and bland, Felt rushed to eat and leave

Well worth a try. - Edit
Had the chickpea balls and humans as a starter and the pasta with roasted vegetables in a white wine sauce, as a main.
Read moreChickpea balls were tasty with crispy edges, the humans was a good portion with a slight spicy ness to it I think added cumin.
Pasta could of done with some more veg, and the white wine flavour was quite subtle., but enjoyable.
All these dishes were off the menu not special items.
Revisited September 2021 - Had the Vegan Moussaka which was very nice the topping was very creamy.
Revisited May 2022 - Lentils Salad a welcome addition to the menu, the standard of food is very good.

Great food with rare vegan options in Greece - Edit
For a change, a restaurant that offers vegan options of the traditional Greek cuisine such as the vegan moussakas. They also have “chickpea balls” and a vegan panacotta.

Pleasant and Sweet - Edit
Being totally vegan in a tourist town famed for seafood is a bit of a stretch so it’s refreshing to see them make the effort to cater for vegans.
Read moreThe Mousaka is seriously good. Salads, olives and sourdough with olive oil and even a vegan Panama cotta round out the options…. Oh and did I mention the Mousaka???
Pros: Enough options to keep a vegan fed, The Mousaka , View, atmosphere and staff
Cons: Like most places, smoking is not discouraged

Tasty food, Greek vegan options not always available, had to have pasta - Edit
Tasty food and lovely restaurant. But they have to be clear what time of year they serve specified vegan options as member of staff said there was no stuffed veg served in September due to it being the wrong time of the year which I have never personally experienced in all the years we have spent in Greece at this time of year, also no vegan moussaka due to only cooking the dish 2/3 times a week due to low demand. Was slightly disappointed due to both being vegan. Chickpea balls were a tasty starter

Solid choice for vegans - Edit
There are a few vegan options on the menu and some more can easily be veganized (e.g. by leaving out cheese). Pasta and salad were good, the chickpea balls were amazing!

Yay, a vegan moussaka! - Edit
Situated near the port in Argostoli, facing the water but a little out of the main part of town.
Read moreThere's very limited vegan options in Kefalonia but we spotted this place had vegan moussaka on the chalkboard menu and saw a few more options when we sat down and went through the menu.
You can also get a roast vegetable pasta dish, but the moussaka was lovely. It's made with an almond milk bechamel style sauce and served with chips and salad .
There's plenty of vegan starters too. We just went for garlic bread and olives but there was also a chickpea balls dish that sounded good.
A good find if you're stuck for somewhere to enjoy a nice greek meal in Argostoli, especially if you're with non-vegans too.
Pros: Tasty vegan moussaka, Great service
Cons: More vegan dishes would be great
