Perfectly acceptable vegan Chicago dog - Edit
$11:50 seems a bit steep but airport prices I guess!

Chicago dog for breakfast.... - Edit
Why wait in line to pay extra for oat milk at Sbux after an early flight when there's a perfectly cromulent vegan Chicago dog waiting for you at 9am?

Ok, if cross contamination doesn’t bother you. - Edit
I realize that many vegans don’t care about cross contamination, so long as no animals are harmed. I respect this. I do care. It grosses me out to eat a burger or hot dog grilled in hamburger fat. I also can’t do fries or other products that are deep fried with chicken, fish, etc.
Read moreThe one time I stopped here, I watched as they dropped the hotdog on the grill and were cooking it in the grease of a hamburger they were cooking. I asked if they could cook it separately and they said they couldn’t. I cancelled my order and haven’t been back.
YMMV

Great when you want a Hot Dog at the airport - Edit
Went half a mile out of my way to try what looked like THE spot for a veggie dog at the airport - “WILL travel for vegan food!” All options can be veganized in each item’s customization screen. Had to have a Chicago-style dog b/c when in Chicago. Worth the trek.

Airport comfort food - Edit
Veggie dogs, burgers, and fries were all solid options. Easy to swap while ordering, came out to $8/dog. I tend to prefer dense, caloric meals and this hit the spot. Quality of food would be 3/5 anywhere else but this is airport food we're talking about where even a hot meal is a luxury.

Perfectly good airport fare - Edit
Is it the best veggie dog you’ve ever had? Probably not, but it is the best veggie dog at O’Hare! It’s right at the entrance to T1 C so if you’ve got a delay or layover it’s pretty accessible. Sometimes you need an Emotional Support Dog to get through your travel day and America’s Dog is there for you

Good Option at ORD - Edit
In my quest for veganized street or local fare food, the Midwest never disappoints. I’ve hiked over from different terminal to here just for a taste. This time, I stopped by on my way out to West Chicago..

So good but extremely slow - Edit
Actually one of my preferred vegan spots in the airport. Decent and filling. Veggie dogs routinely take 5 times longer than anything else, though, not clear why there’s always a 20-30 min wait vs no more than 5 for meat eaters.

Solid lunch place - Edit
Nothing special, about the same as you'd expect from a hot dog stand. It was about $8/dog when we went. Hit the spot.

Nice to be able to get a Chicago dawg - Edit
Nothing fancy. Good veggie dog. Fries were soggy but I don’t mind them like that 🫣. Plus I was able to buy a jar of giardiniera, which I couldn’t find anywhere else in the airport.

Decent Veggie Dog - Edit
The veggie dog was very good and can be customized to your liking. I got caramelized onions, hot peppers and mustard. The tater tots were made fresh and super hot. Decent preflight meal for sure!

Good Airport Find - Edit
This was such a good airport find!! The two women who were working the register were so friendly and knowledgeable about how to order vegan! They let me know any of the hotdogs could be customized to fit vegan but the burgers could not as the contain egg. Really good pre flight (especially international) as plane food is rarely vegan friendly!!

Delicious vegan dogs - Edit
Better than I’d anticipated for vegan junk food in an airport. I walked well out of my way to try this place and was not disappointed at all. Any burger or hot dog can be made vegan as long as you request a veggie dog/burger. Make sure to read the toppings, as some aren’t vegan. I got the Chicago and the Milwaukee and wasn’t disappointed at all. The only knock to this place is the pricing, which is a little high. However, they don’t charge extra for veggie dogs and burgers.

Cons: Prices a little high
