Best food I’ve had in a long time. - Edit
We went here for Mother’s Day with a vegan, a vegetarian (the Moms) and some omnivores. Everyone was blown away by the food. We had a variety of things so we could taste lots. Delish across the board. The hummus, falafel and bao were great. Fave for me was the slow roasted eggplant. We’re still talking about it. Definitely will go back for all the things we didn’t try yet! Plus the cocktails were yummy too.

Big portions! - Edit
Good food, big portions. Had a 2 for 1 coupon for the falafel bowl, so happy they gave such a great coupon to the plant based eats book.

A regular for me! - Edit
Authentic Arab food with a vegan twist. Everything tastes fresh and very flavourful!
Read moreMy only feedback would be that their pitas are very chewy - they need to chill out on the kneading.
Otherwise, I definitely recommend this spot. On Ubereats they frequently have a 2 for 1 falafel dish too!

Nothing to write home about - Edit
We went for a late brunch. For an appetizer, we got the large silk road, which was good but essentially just hummus and very dense pitas for $19. Also, the ratio was not proportionate, and there was way more hummus than pita. I was surprised it was a large, because I can't imagine how tiny a small would be. I used to love eggs Benedict, and as a vegan it is one of the things that I miss, so I ordered the falafel Benedict. I was very disappointed because it was just like regular falafel but with a tiny amount of hollandaise. Maybe they were running out because it was the end of the day, but calling it Benedict feels like some sort of mean trick because it was just a regular falafel, and a mediocre one at that. My partner got a shish kabab bowl, and it was a better choice. It even came with creamy potatoes that would have filled my comfort food breakfast craving that the falafel left unfulfilled.

Best food in Vancouver - Edit
6 weeks in the USA and Canada and this was our standout meal. So delicious and awesome flavours. We went back for brunch the next day, wasn’t as exciting but still good. Dinner was the winner for sure.

Go here!!!! - Edit
My partner and I took an edible before coming here for his birthday dinner and while I’m sure the food is delicious sober, after the edible, everything was out of this world 🤯 I had the falafel bowl and he had the shawarma bowl. We also had the potatoes for an app. Everything tasted super authentic and I’ve probably never enjoyed a meal as much as I did that night. Side note - their brunch menu looks fantastic so definitely planning to return. Amazing experience!!!

A refreshing twist on brunch classics - Edit
Absolutely loved everything I tried here. The Gaza scramble is gorgeous with the sweetness added from the pine nuts and sultanas. The hummus and tofu scramble toast, and possibly my favourite were the coffee smoothie and banana date smoothie. Lovely atmosphere and great menu, worth a trip.

Best Pancakes I've ever had - Edit
Pancakes are one of my favorite things in the world but these put all others to shame! Food is now ruined forever thanks to Keenan's Pancakes. I have now experienced the peak happiness of life and it's all downhill from here. I live now only in the hopes of experiencing these heavenly discs of joy with their expertly formed crunchy edges, soft yet slightly chewy centers, and perfectly gentle flavor again some day. However my chances are slim as I live over 1000 miles away but I must endure!

The Silk Road is a must. The shakshuka was unlike anything I’ve had. The tahini banana smoothie and tahini brownie were the perfect sweet treats. The chimichurri bread was also unlike anything else, and absolutely delicious.

Feels magical and cosy! 4.5 gold stars! - Edit
Got the Shawarma dumpling soup and the Mezze platter.
Read moreYou don't really taste the ginger in the soup, but the spice of it is definitely there, along with the taste of black sesame. The dumplings themselves came in 3 and they were cute (could do with more), really enjoyed the texture, as for flavour, it tasted the same as the broth. This dish also contained a fair amount of mushrooms. The noodles were soft - if you like the taste of tahini and the woodiness of mushrooms with a ginger kick then you'll like this. 4/5.
The Mezze, I loved the thinly sliced pickled carrots, they were refreshing, slightly sweet, perfectly sour and had a floral taste to it, very interesting (highlight of the mezze).
The raw pickled cauliflower was ok, very waxy on your teeth.
Crispy potatoes were also ok, not as thoroughly crispy as expected due to the other ingredients, complex looking dish, can't really define a flavour.
Saj bread was fine.
The hummus was pretty oily as per normal, everything was smooth in texture besides a couple of walnuts and a few bits and bobs.
Fattoush salad was ok, tasted undefinable again.
The date labneh is made from coconut, it can be overwhelming for anyone who doesn't like coconut....(me).
Olives had pits in.
Honestly, the mezze didn't look like much, but it does stuff you up because of all the oil and creaminess. Fun to eat, however, most dishes were too complex tasting to pick out one distinct flavour to enjoy.
For the price, personally don't think it's worth it, $25 is more reasonable - 2.5/5.
The restaurant has a European vibe, it was cosy, magical and quaint. Loved the colour scheme, the plants and pillows. 5/5.
The waitress was really nice, friendly and knowledgeable, 5/5!
Had the Shawarma (mine) and Falafel wrap, hummus and creme brulee (mine),
The Shawarma was heavy on the coriander (loved it) and the enoki mushrooms, all the ingredients, textures and flavours worked well. The wrap itself was lovely and warm, however, the end of the wraps were left open so sauce dripped everywhere, and the coriander could have been chopped up....because you bite a bit and a whole bunch of them follow - 4/5!
First Creme brulee of my life, the caramalised sugar layer on top tasted like coconut sugar, the creme was mainly cold with some warmth on the edges, it's similar to a thick creamy custard. Never had saffron before so that must be the secondary undefinable taste for me, overall, it just tasted of light coconut; it was ok - 2.87/5.

A welcome addition to the vegetarian scene in Vancouver. A bit more upscale than chickpea. Had a great lunch with falafel, pickled veg, crispy potatoes. Would absolutely return.
