Great brunch and fully vegan!

Had brunch the potatoes, Benedict and Reuben sandwich with great Arabic coffee in a gorgeous spot! Enjoyed it being fully vegan felt so safe. Unfortunately in a odd location but it as worth the trip to dine in if you don’t want to order. Staff were lovely and it’s a great little spot!

Pros: All vegan , Lots of options , Lots of gluten free

Cons: A little out the way

Love this place. Great vibe, awesome open kitchen so you can watch how the magic is made, and some cool utensils that reminded me of my trip to Lebanon. Great staff and the owners little girl Olive is SO CUTE!

Feels magical and cosy! 4.5 gold stars!

Got the Shawarma dumpling soup and the Mezze platter.

You don't really taste the ginger in the soup, but the spice of it is definitely there, along with the taste of black sesame. The dumplings themselves came in 3 and they were cute (could do with more), really enjoyed the texture, as for flavour, it tasted the same as the broth. This dish also contained a fair amount of mushrooms. The noodles were soft - if you like the taste of tahini and the woodiness of mushrooms with a ginger kick then you'll like this. 4/5.

The Mezze, I loved the thinly sliced pickled carrots, they were refreshing, slightly sweet, perfectly sour and had a floral taste to it, very interesting (highlight of the mezze).
The raw pickled cauliflower was ok, very waxy on your teeth.
Crispy potatoes were also ok, not as thoroughly crispy as expected due to the other ingredients, complex looking dish, can't really define a flavour.
Saj bread was fine.
The hummus was pretty oily as per normal, everything was smooth in texture besides a couple of walnuts and a few bits and bobs.
Fattoush salad was ok, tasted undefinable again.
The date labneh is made from coconut, it can be overwhelming for anyone who doesn't like coconut....(me).
Olives had pits in.
Honestly, the mezze didn't look like much, but it does stuff you up because of all the oil and creaminess. Fun to eat, however, most dishes were too complex tasting to pick out one distinct flavour to enjoy.
For the price, personally don't think it's worth it, $25 is more reasonable - 2.5/5.

The restaurant has a European vibe, it was cosy, magical and quaint. Loved the colour scheme, the plants and pillows. 5/5.
The waitress was really nice, friendly and knowledgeable, 5/5!

Had the Shawarma (mine) and Falafel wrap, hummus and creme brulee (mine),

The Shawarma was heavy on the coriander (loved it) and the enoki mushrooms, all the ingredients, textures and flavours worked well. The wrap itself was lovely and warm, however, the end of the wraps were left open so sauce dripped everywhere, and the coriander could have been chopped up....because you bite a bit and a whole bunch of them follow - 4/5!

First Creme brulee of my life, the caramalised sugar layer on top tasted like coconut sugar, the creme was mainly cold with some warmth on the edges, it's similar to a thick creamy custard. Never had saffron before so that must be the secondary undefinable taste for me, overall, it just tasted of light coconut; it was ok - 2.87/5.

fanstasic and unique food in vancouver

A welcome addition to the vegetarian scene in Vancouver. A bit more upscale than chickpea. Had a great lunch with falafel, pickled veg, crispy potatoes. Would absolutely return.

Bright and cozy middle eastern restaurant

This is a small, bright an airy place with many of the common middle eastern dishes you’d expect, with others I had never heard of.

Great cocktails, tasty food, and a well labeled menu which indicates which dishes contain egg or dairy.
