So so

I ordered takeaway, so I’m not too sure if that changes the experience. The falafel wrap was just fine, but the baklawa was in all honesty the worst I think I’ve had in my life. Not too sure what else to say.

Come for the Sunday buffet

As everyone knows, Sunday is the day of eating as much food as humanly possible.

On Sundays at Al Sham, for 250,000 VND you get an all-you-can-eat buffet that includes many, clearly-marked vegan items, including soups, salads, falafel, hummus, vine leaves, fruits, desserts, and many other things.

If you enjoy middle-eastern food, then you will find yourself in Heaven... and weighing a lot more than when you arrived. It's all good quality food and the buffet is continually restocked.

Soso

Humus was awfully boring, no taste at all. Pita bread and falafel was nice though.

Great place

We were missing proper hummus and falafel all the time in Vietnam since we come from Israel and eat that all the time. The food was really good.

Great authentic Arabic food

Amazing Arabic food here! The owner is Syrian, full of hospitality and makes really good authentic food. Menu items are clearly marked and you can ask them to veganise some of the veggie dishes. They bought out pickles for the table to nibble and eat with the food which was a nice touch. The mezze platter was great and they let us swap the moutabal for babaganoush so it was vegan. We also had falafel wraps which were excellent. Will deffo return.

Pros: Delicious food, Vegan/veggie clearly marked, Friendly owner
