Authentic & delicious - Edit
So many choices and everything is flavorful and delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about vegan items. The buffet is fantastic. When the buffet is closed, just tell them you'd like a vegan plate & they'll hook you up!

Delicious!! - Edit
Wow!! I have always loved Ethiopian food, and each Ethiopian restaurant I've been to is different but in a good way! I had the vegetarian dish, and oh my gosh. It's impossible to decide which is your favorite because they are all soooo good! The potato salad, beet salad, red lentils, and yellow split peas were probably my favorites. And of course, the injera was to die for!

SUCH good Ethiopian - Edit
I’m always looking for good Ethiopian places and this place did not miss. It’s so nice that you just order the vegetarian platter and get everything. People say it’s enough for 2 but if you are like me you can eat the whole thing! It comes with the classics like brown, red and yellow lentils and cabbage/potatoes/carrots and also comes with cold beet and potato salad and some mustard-y lentil thing and a side salad. It was $15 including an extra piece of injera

Delicious and filling - Edit
The vegetarian plate is vegan as is. The injera flat bread is naturally gluten free and vegan. The spices are good and not too spicy. Definitely 5* but app only lets you give 5* if totally vegan location.

Ethiopian brilliance - Edit
If they ever bring back the buffet then the options expand, but the veggie plate is the most brilliant entree in the city.

Amazing - Edit
Honestly, just the most amazing Ethiopian food! The owner here is super helpful and super accommodating, and recommended all the dishes that could be made vegan. We got sooo stuffed for really not that much money. Sadly the place serves meat (a lot of it), but the vegan food they do make is simply out of this world. This is a must try for any vegans in the Memphis area. If we lived nearby we’d probably come once a week. Highly recommended.

Coming Back ASAP - Edit
I absolutely loved this place! Huge serving for a good price. It wasnt busy at all for dinner. The service was so friendly and I thought the decor was beautiful. Sooooo yummy. You can't complain about the lack of variety. Even though for dinner the only option is the vegetarian platter there's about 7 different dishes the the plate. My advice - get the tea!!

So much food! - Edit
I came here for dinner, and ordered the vegan sampler plate. It was huge! It literally lasted three meals for me, and I think it was about $10 total. The server was very kind and gave me extra injera for my leftovers. The place is kind of dimly lit.

A Dependable Favorite - Edit
I’ve been eating the number ten vegetable plate from here since graduate school 14 years ago. It always tastes consistently delicious. The staff are so friendly, and an even an Omni will be pleased after dining here.

So many delicious choices! - Edit
This place is almost entirely vegan, the only non vegan item in their lunch buffet, which. has like 15 delicious choices, was one thing of chicken at the end of the line.

Awesome, cheap Ethiopian food. - Edit
Don't be put off by the hole-in-the-wall atmosphere! Food is great, owners are really friendly, price is right. The injera is on point.

good, though a little greasy - Edit
hole in the wall with a great buffet lunch for something like $9. The fresh bread and lentils were great, some of the vegetables were a little greasy for my taste and the salad was slim pickings but the meal was flavorful and spicy. I was very happy with the meal and would go back. the staff was very warm and the owner was very good at letting me know exactly what wasn't vegan (which was only 1 dish on the buffet!)

Great place - Edit
The food here is very delicious and filling. Every time I went there the staff was very grateful and friendly. It would be nice to see more than one non-meat dish on the menu, but at least the one that is there offers a large variety of food. I have never been unsatisfied after eating here. Parking in front of the restaurant is sparse, and I'm always confused where in the back it is OK to park - I'm always afraid I'll get towed when I go there. Other than that, this place is very much worth checking out if you've never been.
