They stopped making vegan baked goods during the pandemic and decided to discontinue them altogether. Super disappointing

They no longer offer vegan cupcakes and this makes me so sad because they did it better than most. They have bars but the cupcakes were top notch😒I rated three stars because they still provide great service when I go to get my cakes and cupcakes for loved ones.

Stopped most vegan baking - Edit
The only reason muddys gets a disappointing 3 stars is because they did away with most of their vegan options. Now they are down to just a chocolate peanut butter bar where they used to have almost every flavor of cupcake for the vegans. It’s still an incredible bakery but I was seriously bummed they did away with the options.

Muddy’s & Vegan Choco PB Bars - Edit
These are amazing. It’s such a nice combination of peanut butter and chocolate. The peanut butter has crispies of some sort in it giving the bar a nice crunch. I could definitely eating too many in one sitting! Muddy’s is a great place, both locations! They have such a great, low key, fun environment. Muddy’s also always has Memphis event info in their stores hanging up.

2-3 VERY YUMMY vegan cupcake options and a MILLION non vegan ones! my vegetarian partner got the blueberry pie (made with fresh blueberries) and i don’t think i’ve ever seen him love any food item so much! the staff @ imagine pointed us here for dessert & im so glad they did 💜

The day I went in the vegan cupcake choices were chocolate and almond cherry. I got two of each to share with my husband and they were so good! I loved the almond cherry the most. They were also beautiful!. The bakery itself was super cute, and i liked all the party supplies they had to purchase. The girls working the counter were friendly. I'll be back!

Indeed they have several vegan options available. They are currently closed Sunday and Monday, so I went on Tuesday for the highest probability of success. Sure enough, they had two vegan cupcakes and a vegan chocolate peanut bar to choose from.
Read moreI was hesitating between the almond-almond cupcake or the chocolate-chocolate cupcake and the kind gal working mentioned that she thought the almond-almond was on the sweeter side. I got the chocolate cupcake and it was divine. Super moist and not-too-sweet. :)
Overall - I would absolutely go back for their vegan cupcakes! Nice little find here in Memphis. :)

Read moreI love that this place always has at least one item for vegans. The last few times I've been in town, they've had THREE options at once, so I guess it's catching on.
Some of the cleverly named cupcakes they feature are:
Prozac (chocolate cake + chocolate icing)
Almond Brothers (vanilla cake + almond icing)
Grasshopper (chocolate cake + mint icing)
They rotate weekly which items are readily available for buying, and you can see what's in their case for the week online or by calling ahead. They'll also make larger batches of whatever you want for special occasions if you custom order ahead of time.
I've enjoyed everything I've tried here, and I love that they're branching out on the vegan treats they offer.
Pros: vegan cupcakes!, at least one vegan item, always, I've seen 4 veg selections at once
