Vegan cupcakes gross - Edit
I picked up a vegan cupcake for my son to take to a birthday party so he wouldn't be left out during the cake. He didn't like it and gave it to me, it was stale, the icing tasted like they only used butter and sugar and was gross, we tossed it in the garbage. I'm pretty sure she just pulled one out of the freezer for us that possibly was made a long time ago. I'm sure they do regular cupcakes really well but need to get back to the drawing board on the vegan ones.

Vegan Cupcakes - Edit
Their vegan cupcakes are great. It's not a vegan place though so they only have a limited amount of vegan cupcakes available. If you want to be sure you could always order ahead of time otherwise try showing up early before they sell out. They seem to have one or two vegan flavours at a time. Their cupcakes are kind of expensive but normal for a gourmet cupcake place like this.

Delicious Vegan cupcakes - Edit
I had a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing and it was great, despite being gluten-free! As a vegan, I usually try to avoid gluten-free things, but these cupcakes were amazing. It even inspired me to buy the Babybakes cookbook!

Great Vegan Cupcakes - Edit
Limited variety, but still great to be able to have vegan cupcakes in Nanaimo. They taste fabulous, hopefully more people will purchase them and the demand will become greater! Very friendly staff!
