This was a really high quality ramen found in Nanaimo and with 3 clearly labeled vegan options. In a cute area of town up the hill from downtown called the Old Quarter. Nanaimo is fairly sleepy but there were a good amount of people in this area. I added gomae (spinach) to my ramen for an extra 1.50, it probably didn’t need it UL but I wanted some extra greens. My only negative was that the broth is a bit overly salty for my taste. I still prefer Ramen Arashi’s tantan in Victoria and Danbo Ramen on Vancouver but that’s me.
Tan tan ramen was delicious, it wasn’t too spicy but had a nice amount of flavour. Only complaint was that I wish there was more veggies in it. Great service too
Entered the restaurant to a welcoming greeting in a cozy little authentic Japanese restaurant. I came for the ramen so I didn't look at anything else on the menu... 3 vegan ramen options (regular, garlic, spicy). I had the garlic ramen and it was fantastic. I don't eat a ton of ramen, but if lived nearby I would eat this ramen a lot. The portion was massive so the value seemed good. It was so garlicy and I loved every bite. Not much else to say about my visit but everything was great, and I highly recommend.
