A bit over-hyped - Edit
TBH it’s all a bit over-hyped. I appreciate the relief at finding a veggie/vegan place to eat somewhere where there are few on offer (more so because I’m coeliac so have the added gluten issue). The set three course meal on offer here was fine. Not particularly tasty, nothing wrong with it - just nothing to get excited about.

A welcome haven in Sintra - Edit
Fantastic place for lunch in Sintra, where vegan food options (and open hours) are limited. The lunch special when we went had hummus with bread, roasted cabbage, salad, and I think another side. It also included a choice of tea or lemonade and dessert. All the food was delicious.
Read moreThe entrance is a little confusing because a couple of restaurants seem to share the same space, and there are tables for a different restaurant in the front entrance.

Fresh and delicious - Edit
Our family of three loved this place! The owner was very friendly and the food was delicious. I had the vegan plate which started with a delicious beet soup. The main course was a veggie burger and salad with fruit for dessert. It was wonderful to have access to unlimited drinks of citrus flavored water and tea. Everything was very fresh tasting. We were happy to find it a bit away from the busy center of Sintra.

Surprise menu - Edit
They have a three course set menu (one veg and one vegan) and it changes everyday. We had beetroot soup, mushroom pie and pumpkin jam with nuts and cinnamon. Not like any other meals we’ve had in the area. The owner was lovely and was clearly very committed to providing good quality vegan/veg options for tourists.

Honest and healthy food - Edit
The sweet lady has a vegetarian menu on offer. You can choose between 2 starters and 2 deserts, there's 1 main course. I asked for vegan and the main course was changed a bit. One of the deserts was vegan.
Read moreAs a starter I had amazing beet orange soup. The vegan main was maybe a bit less exciting; a beans and vegetables mixture with basmati rice: nice flavours, but maybe a bit on the small side. The roasted apple as desert was delicious.
My friend, vegetarian, had really nice hummus and bread as a starter, a mushroom potatoe pie as the main and apple cake as desert, all really nice.
Nice atmosphere, very helpful and friendly.
Pros: Honest and healthy , Very friendly lady , Nice atmosphere, away from busy Sintra

very cozy and heartful place, where the owner herself, Graça, greets you and serves you fresh and tasty food made from scratch and prepared with the veggies grown by herself. you can feel the love and dedication in each bite. simple local organic food and friendly stuff. vegan-friendly. they don’t offer a la carte but have a complex meal (starter+main plate+dessert and drinks) that changes every day

Must visit in Sintra - Edit
Dropped in en route to tourist spots, opted for the 16 euro full course lunch with drinks. Enjoyed every bit of it! The cauliflower soup was delicious, and the main course featured roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes, a hint of pesto, roasted beets, and mushrooms. The elderly lady was incredibly sweet and helpful.

Worth the 7 month wait! - Edit
I first tried to go to this place in June 2023, but they were closing up. The 3 course meal 7 months later was worth it. Super chilled, rustic place, no frills, and I felt very at home with my muddy trainers!

Healthy and extremely delicious - Edit
The set menu today was €14 and included a beet soup, mushroom and bean patty with roast potatoes, salad and cabbage and a baked apple with granola. It was all extremely tasty but my favourite was the mushroom patty, I could have even seventy of them. Highly recommend if you're in Sintra, it's worth fitting into the budget.

Avoid the tourist hotspots here! - Edit
What a fab place, a set daily lunch, one vegan option with three courses. All homemade and reasonably priced, and running at the pace of the people making and serving the food. The day we visited, it was soup, a rice dish, fruit salad and flavoured water.
