Waffle breakfast sandwiches and more - Edit
As well as veganized Cuban food, there is a large amount of cakes as well as ice cream to choose from. The strawberry shortcake was extremely decadent. The sweetness was level 10. The waffle sandwich was pretty tasty. Service was nice and not long after we arrived, it got super busy. I was glad to see that 😁

Cuban food - Edit
Love this spot. Small but very good menu, you order on a tablet and they bring the food pretty quickly. Friendly staff. It's a little expensive but the portions are huge. You can definitely split a plate with 2 people.

Enough for two meals!!! - Edit
Visited on a Monday when their sister tenant that specializes in dessert was closed, we knew that in advance. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to find we could still get dessert, but it’s first come first serve. We were lucky enough to get the last almond cake chocolate mouse that turned into our appetizer because they gave it to us before our food arrived lol.
Read moreWe both did build your own meals with one of us getting the mushroom based chicken cutlet, beans &rice, and tostones. Her reaction was I cannot believe this is mushroom; it’s so good. I did build your own and chose three sides; black beans, yucca w/ mojo and white rice. Both of us extremely satisfied with our meals and both taking enough home for another meal at home.
Definitely worth the visit to check them out. Sidenote they had a Sriracha Tabasco sauce. I was a little skeptical, but it slaps.
Didn’t find out until after I tipped that you also have to clean your own table, so keep that in mind.

Decedent and tasty - Edit
This restaurant shares the same space with two other vegan restaurants which is quite exciting! We got the alfredo with shrimp, a chicken sandwich, and an empanada. Everything was so yummy.

Delicious! - Edit
Inside Market on South with lots of parking in front and back. Food is ordered at the digital kiosk and there is also ice cream by Vegan Scoops and baked goods for sale. Family friendly with a kids play area and specialty items are for sale like candies, cheeses and wines. The empanadas were soooo good and staff was very nice.

Delicious and Authentic Vegan Cuban Cuisine - Edit
A Lo Vegano is, without a doubt, the BEST vegan Cuban food I have ever had the honor and privilege of experiencing. From the very first bite to the last, every aspect of this meal was a love letter to authentic Cuban cuisine—crafted without compromise and overflowing with care, passion, and incredible flavor. As someone who is 39 weeks pregnant, with cravings as specific as they are intense, I cannot begin to express how deeply satisfying and nostalgic this meal was. It transported me right back to afternoons in my Abuela’s kitchen, where the air was filled with warmth, love, and the unmistakable aroma of comfort food made from the heart. A Lo Vegano perfectly captured that essence in every detail, from the smell to the taste. Not one portion of this meal disappointed.
Read moreThe team and staff at A Lo Vegano are nothing short of extraordinary. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made the experience even more special. As my family and I waited for our order, they consistently checked on us, sharing smiles, warmth, and little moments that made us feel like more than just customers—they made us feel like family. Their thoughtfulness went above and beyond when they gifted me a bag of goodies and the sweetest dessert, knowing I could go into labor at any moment. To say this meal was made with L.O.V.E. would be an understatement. It wasn’t just food—it was a beautiful act of service and connection.
As for the menu, let me tell you, every single item was an absolute masterpiece. I’m talking about the shrimp pasta, the chick’n cutlets, the plant-based steaks—each one bursting with flavor and seasoned to perfection. The breakfast waffle and croissant sandwiches were a revelation, and the yuca fries, mojo pork, and classic Cuban rice and beans were just as incredible. And don’t even get me started on the sauces—they were so good they could’ve been a meal on their own! And then there’s the Cuban bread. My goodness. Every bite of that bread was pure bliss, warm and soft, and so authentically Cuban that it made my heart swell.
As a pregnant foodie who has traveled the nation sampling vegan spots, I can say without hesitation that A Lo Vegano has earned the top spot on my list. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience of culture, care, and community woven into every bite. They’ve managed to preserve the essence of traditional Cuban cuisine while making it accessible to plant-based diners, something that is no easy feat!
Pros: Flavor, Nostalgic tastes, Variety of items to choose from

I had the mushroom plater. Lucky they were out of rice so I got to sub for mash potatoes. It was mind blowing! I went to get a cuban sandwich, but they were out of that too. Im glad they were. So yummy. It is expensive though.

Vegan Heaven Must Try - Edit
Let me begin by saying 5 stars isn't enough I think it deserves 5 more. I have been vegan 9years and have not found anything like this. All dishes and I mean all were amazing. Flavor, texture, portion. This is a vegan must. It's a bucket list item that won't disappoint. And they have desserts too all in one.

All day brunch! - Edit
Great, all vegan spot. I wish I had more time to eat here again. I wanted to try everything. It was the 1st meal of the day so I went what was recommended. Waffle sandwich with hash browns. It was delicious! Coffee counter is separate from the food, but the coffee was just as delicious. Next time I’m in Orlando, I’ll definitely come back here. I need to try their Cuban Style food.

Delicious vegan food - Edit
Everything I tried has tasted great. I tried their vegan sunny side up eggs (Yo Egg), garlic shrimp, garlic knots, and tostones. The vegan sunny side up eggs tasted exactly like real sunny side up eggs to me. I was pleasantly surprised. And right now it's the only restaurant in Florida serving them, according to https://www.yo-egg.com which is who makes that egg product. I recommend going to the restaurant and trying their food. They have other stuff like waffles too. They're located inside the "Market on South" building, which is like a little vegan food hall of vendors.
