Filling Rice Bowls! - Edit
The Dupbap bowl with tofu and veggies has a really great taste and is quite filling! I also tried the dumplings which were different than the traditional potstickers/gyoza I expect. The dumplings were good but lacked flavor unless using the sauce that came with them.

Delicious vegan Korean food - Edit
I just came back from a trip Seoul and was craving real Korean food. I ordered Kimchi Fried Rice with tofu, sticky rice cakes, and a Noodle Bowl with tofu. All medium spiced. All were perfection and just how I remember those dishes from my trip. A Cup of Peace will now be my new go-to place for vegan food in Boulder.

Great food, quaint atmosphere - Edit
The food was awesome! I got the Korean bbq tofu and tofu bibimbap and couldn’t recommend either of those enough. Their drinks can be made vegan as well if you sub using a non-dairy milk. I will definitely be going back!

Big burrito and DF drink options - Edit
The menu here is well labeled and can easily be made vegan by choosing tofu instead of the meat options and choosing one of the milk alternatives (coconut, soy, almond, oat) instead of dairy milk for drinks. You can also customize spice level! I enjoyed the medium spicy tofu burrito with kimchi (order with no cheese for vegan) and an iced chai latte with soy milk. The person who took our order was so kind and calm, even gave us crunchy rice rolls on the house. I would love to try more food here if I visit Boulder again.

Miso soup good - Edit
I wasn't feeling well when I came here so chose a bowl of the miso soup and the veggie dumplings. The soup was good and helped me feel better. The dumplings were different in that they are skinless. They tasted good but when I dipped them in the dipping sauce that came with it, they fell apart. I don't think I'd order them again.

Comforting food - Edit
I have been here many times and always get the bbq bowl and strawberry bubble tea with oat milk(tastes like a strawberry milkshake). Most things can be made vegan so there are lots of options. The kimchi is also vegan and delicious!

A Bowl of Rice - Edit
The fried rice with tofu is very high in rice proportionally. Would have liked more veggies and tofu with less rice. Has a great mild spice and flavor with sesame oil.

Yummy and comforting - Edit
I ordered the Yen Meal - everything was spiced really nicely and blended well together. It was perfect for a cool fall day. In addition, there aren’t a lot of places still limiting indoor seating; currently this restaurant only offers to-go orders - I felt more secure picking up from here knowing nobody would be eating inside. I placed an order through Postmates on Google and my order was promptly ready 20 min later. If you’re looking for something beyond the usual places you might frequent in this area, would highly recommend!

Amazing Vegan Options - Edit
I love this place! I would eat here frequently when I used to work about 10 minutes away. The kimchi is vegan and very good, one of my favorites I've had as a vegan. Go to's are the Dup Bob or Rice Noodle bowl with Tofu -- w/request for kimchi mixed in. When I'm feeling extra ravenous I'll add a side salad and miso soup. Yum!

Great find - Edit
Stopped in as I just arrived to the area and was looking for both Asian spice and veggie. Found this place. The kimchi was nice as was the tofu dish I had. They gave me extra spice sauce on the side as well which I appreciated.

Bi bim bap is awesome - Edit
This place is in a weird little strip mall, and has a spare ambiance but the food is really good.
Read moreThey have lots of different vegan options but we always get the Bi-Bim-Bab vegan style with the organic tofu or just veggies and top it with the hot sauce. The bi-bim-bab no longer comes with egg, but it can be requested if you're vegetarian.
This is a Korean dish that is typically served on rice but Cup of Peace serves theirs on a mix of grains and rice (looks like cooked Kashi) and it's really yummy. The veggies are cooked cabbage, squash, zucchini and raw carrot/cucumber. -- In the past, this dish was served hot with the cool veggies on top (and so yummy!) but on our last few visits it's been served as a cold dish and it's not nearly as good that way.
They have unusual and tasty teas as well (including really unusual honey-teas for vegetarians or people who eat honey) and Chai.
Reportedly, the kim-chi is vegan but I'm not sure I trust that since the majority of kim-chi is made with fish paste and I wasn't sure that the lady at the counter knew the answer.
They have a vegan puffed rice treat that is really good too - it's like a Korean rice crispy treat!
Pros: lots of vegan options
Cons: bi bim bap might be cold

Good, simple options. - Edit
I work right around the corner from this place but haven't been there in 4 years. I finally decided to try it the other day, and it was pretty good. I found the menu kind of confusing (they only have about 6 basic options and it's not very clear). The food I got was simple and fresh - just some julienned veggies (some pickled) on top of wild rice blend with a soy-type sauce and sriracha. It was just what I was looking for, but also kind of pricey for as simple as it was (around $8).
