Fancier dining near the harbor - Edit
Between the old market and the harbor lies an old building inhabited by a restaurant, hotel and cocktail bar by the name of „Scheele“.

This was warmly accommodated by the hostess, so on our date a whole three course menu was prepared and ready. Everything vegan was clearly marked as such on the menu, in addition to the veganization of veggie options.
We had different main courses, only for the starter and dessert there was “only” one option. All of it was accompanied by a wine-pairing.
The service was very friendly and attentive, so no non-vegan goodies arrived at our table the whole time.
The quality of taste and service was second to none compared to the other places in town we went to. Every single thing tasted great, the spicy tofu was the best I’ve had so far.
Total recommendation and well worth the asking price!

Culinary adventure! - Edit
Zum Scheele is a culinary adventure inside a beautiful medieval merchants house. There is a vegetarian menu which also offered some vegan options (just ask for the vegetarian menu). The composition and taste of the dishes is unique - I’ve never seen or tasted anything like it. It’s a little bit pricey and the portion sizes are small, but it’s totally worth it for the extraordinary experience. The quality of the ingredients is also good and the staff is professional and friendly. The architecture and the atmosphere of the building is beautiful. Definitely a must visit if you’re in Stralsund!

exzellente vegane Küche - Edit
Schönes Restaurant in historischem Haus mit Außenplätzen im Hof und auf der Straße. Wir waren einmal zum Mittag da und der Koch hat extra etwas Veganes zusammengestellt. Focaccia mit Grillgemüse und Currysauce.
Read moreDanach waren wir nochmals abends da und haben die vegane Karte probiert. Die gehobene Küche hält, was sie verspricht! Raffinierte Kochkreationen aus regionalen Produkten, dazu hervorragender Service. Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir wieder da sind!

Cons: Teuer (Preis - Leistung stimmt!)

There is also a shop attached to the restaurant where they sell their own coffee (also BIO). The guy was really helpful in finding a suitable one for me. They have also chocolate bars, some are labeled as vegan.
