Standard Zizzi’s

Usually I enjoy Zizzi and they serve a range of vegan options. However, at this particular zizzi the service is slow. I dislike the fact that you are encouraged to serve yourself (ordering and paying through a QR code when seated in the restaurant). In addition, they have reduced the vegan menu and zizzi have completely done away with the separate vegan menu.

Pros: Vegan food is nice

Cons: Turning into a fast food restaurant

Love this place

Always have loved this restaurant and the vegan options are great. I ordered the lasagne and my friends and I shared all three nibbles.

Very nice food and good customer service!

Pros: Delicious food

Really nice actually

I ordered:
VEGAN 'BEETBALL' POLPETTE.
RUSTICA JACKFRUIT ITALIAN Hot.
Strawberry VEGAN GELATO
It was just all really nice. I suppose I didn't expect much from a chain restaurant but it was just really good.

Pros: Lots of vegan options.

Vegan ‘cheese’ pizza is my fave🍕

I always go for the vegan margarita here, it’s really good cheese and melts like any other dairy option, not too overly priced considering it’s really tasty!

Pros: Good choice of vegan options

Cons: A little pricey for pizza but it’s very yummy

Skimpy on the vegan moz

It’s nice they have lots of options but I must say they were a bit stingy on the vegan mozzarella, so felt like I was mostly eating tomato on dough, on the plus side they had a biscoff vegan cheesecake which was amazing however I’m pretty sure it’s a spring special so won’t be sticking around

Pros: Quite a bit of choice compared to many others , Vegan cheesecake was to die for

Cons: Not enough toppings/cheese

Used to love

Used to love zizzi, and still visit other chains, but this one gave me dairy garlic bread when I ordered all vegan a few weeks ago, which I only know about due to my severe lactose intolerance. They seem to care more in person, but be wary. They didn’t respond at all to my emails or bad review, but have since added a disclaimer to deliveroo stating that they can’t prevent allergen contact; however, my reaction wouldn’t have been as strong if it had simply come into contact with dairy, I know I was actually given straight up dairy.
I still like zizzi as a whole, but be very careful in this location

Great pizza and dessert

Of the high street pizza chains Zizzi has the best vegan options - make sure you save room for the divine chocolate torte

Gorgeous pizza and an even better pudding!!

Whenever we don’t know where to eat we always pick zizi’s. They’ve got an entire vegan menu with plenty to choose from. My personal favourite is vegan rustica margherita, their cheese is made with coconut oil, which is super tasty. I always add on balsamic tomatoes on mine for extra flavour. The pudding though is probably the highlight for me. The sticky chocolate and praline torte is probably the best vegan pudding I’ve ever had. They include “honeycomb” and some “ice cream”. Both delicious. If you’re ever in Nottingham and struggling where to eat then you can’t go wrong with zizzi’s.

3 Course Vegan Meal

All food was amazing, Bruschetta, Vegan Pizza and a Vegan Chocolate tart for dessert.
A separate vegan menu makes it really easy to choose what you'd like, we had a side of lentil ragu too so I will definitely be having that as a main next time! It was delicious.
Our waitress was lovely, attentive and talkative.
And, I used Tesco vouchers so this was all essentially free!
Great place.

Pros: Vegan pizza, City centre

Vegan pizza

Great to have the option of vegan cheese available although a little too runny for me, more like a cheese sauce. However still a good option. Menu has recently been increased to include more vegan options, good to see chain restaurants recognising the demand. I think the additional charges for toppings is a little steep however. For me personally there are better places for pizza in Nottingham with better/cheaper toppings and non runny cheese.

Pros: Vegan menu

Cons: Cheese too 'runny' , Toppings expensive when adding multiple choices

Top pizza

Great choice when out for dinner with an Italian loving omni-family. Garlic bread and pizza with squash, balsamic onion and peppers was gorgeous. Although the cheese did seem like more of a fondue than a cheese alternative, it's still one of my favourite places for pizza in Nottingham.

Pros: Very tasty pizza with a separate menu for vegans.

Cons: Cheese may not be to everyone's taste as it has a

Vegan cheese pizza!

They have a selection of vegan pizzas made with MozzaRisella which is an Italian rice milk cheese and melts beautifully. Vegan starters and desserts too. You can even get vegan pizza delivered locally via Deliveroo!

Pros: Vegan cheese pizza , Vegan starters, Vegan desserts

Cons: no soya milk for coffee
