Good version of the chain

Zizzi in general does a nice range of vegan options and the Cabot restaurant is spacious and welcoming.

Meh

While Zizzi do have quite a few vegan options, I wouldn’t say that they were very good… there’s better places to go in Bristol but it’s nice to know that vegans are catered for. The best item in my opinion is the lentil ragu. It’s very expensive here too got the quality of food, vegan or otherwise

Pros: Vegan options , Can eat with non vegans

Cons: Expensive , Boring options

Fine for a chain

For a chain, it feels like Zizzi have at least tried to make an effort. Vegan options are well marked out on the menu. They've also made sure that there's a couple of vegan options on most sections of the menu, so you've got the choice of pasta, pizza, risotto etc.

I also like that, when looking at the menu online, you can filter to show only vegan dishes. Additionally, you can filter out any of the many listed allergens.

However, for all the effort, it still feels like there's not a great amount of choice (it's good for a chain, perhaps). I had the vegan lasagne, which tasted great, but really needed something in the side, particularly for the price. I added some seasonal greens, which turned out to be some slightly wilty broccoli (£3.95).

The service seems to have declined now. You're encouraged to order via qr code. This is fine, but definitely feels as though the experience is lacking compared to where Zizzi used to be!

Pros: Vegan choices well marked, but limited

Cons: Feels pricey, all things considered

Basic Vegan Options

The vegan options at Zizzi are very limited and basic. They have a few bread options for starter, a new risotto dish, lasagne and arrabiata pasta and vegan pizza. The new dishes are more interesting and tasted nice. It’s good to see that they’re very slowly expanding their vegan options, however, there’s still not much variety or exciting dishes. Their vegan pizza is nice but very simple and they only do margarita. I find all of their food to be very bland and overpriced. They do have a vegan dessert which is a chocolate torte but I haven’t tried this. Overall, the vegan food is ok for a chain restaurant but every time I’ve visited Zizzi as a vegan I’ve been bored by the food.

Pros: Some vegan options, Nice chain restaurant

Cons: Overpriced, Basic food , Limited vegan options that are boring

Delish as always

Had the vegan pizza and added a number of toppings. A firm favorite of mine and was not disappointed. Service could have been a little better and they could have been a bit more attentive, but it was a busy Friday night

Easy and Yummy

Although it is a chain it does have vegan options so you can't complain really.

I've been loads of times now for the vegan options and it's great everytime!

I usually get the create your own pizza and the torte dessert mmmmm!

Pros: Easy, Lots of vegan options , Student/Vouchercloud discount!

Love this chain

Convenient separate vegan menu with a couple of great options. The pizza can be made with vegan cheese, which is nice if a little too runny. This particular restaurant is in a great location, so easy to find and wonderful for a treat while having a day shopping in Cabot Circus. It's never busy and I have always found that booking in advance was a waste of time as there are always free seats. The staff are always helpful and happy, they even provided my friend with a whole new meal free of charge when she accidentally spilled a whole shaker full of salt over her food.

Pasta and salad dishes should come in larger portions for the price paid, but pizzas are always good value.

Pros: Tasty, good value pizza, Always find a seat, Friendly and helpful staff

Cons: Some dishes are slightly to expensive, Could do with more options
