They use fresh jackfruit not marinated like we’re used to having it but it was surprisingly good. As long as you’re expecting it to taste sweet though. Their ensalada de nopales (cactus) was also raw which is not how I’m used to having it but it was sooo good! I will definitely be back!!!

They have a few vegan options (potato, cactus, jackfruit) all super tasty tacos. Very nice, friendly family run business. This place deserves your business. And they’re cheap tacos!

Jackfruit Tacos!!! - Edit
So I took my father here because he’s into jackfruit and I told him there was a place that sells tacos made of the fruit. One, he didn’t believe me and two, thought they would taste horrible since it’s a fruit not meat. My dad is old school Mexican and doesn’t understand the vegan concept. As he puts it, can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Nevertheless, he tried the tacos and he was absolutely floored by the taste!
Read moreThe restaurant is very small (I mean really tiny, no kidding), but the ambience more than makes up for it. The taco cart spills on the sidewalk where Adan get to cooking he’s tacos for walk-by customers. In the kitchen, his wife preps and cooks the jackfruit tacos all on its own section. It is truly one of the best jackfruit tacos I’ve had in the Los Angeles area. The tacos are Mexican style, serve on the small tortilla with all the fixings and can’t beat the price. Chem it out for yourself but be warned, keep a vigilant eye for the restaurant when looking for it or you might just drive past it.
