Nice dim sum place

Must have the bamboo rice, but then again.. just try everything that is vegan if you have the stomach for it.

A nice vegetarian dim sum restaurant

A nice vegetarian dim sum restaurant. It's good to enjoy traditional refreshments in the afternoon here.

Pros: Lots of traditional cookies and refreshments

Cons: Small portion

Gorgeous

The first thing I noticed was how peacefully decorated this restaurant is even just from the courtyard at the entrance. There’s one table outside that seems like a great place to dine when the weather is cooler.

The menu we got was only in Chinese and Japanese, which likely reflects the clientele they normally get. But there are many photos in it, which is helpful. Perhaps they’ve revised their menu to be very clear about which items are vegan, ovo, and lacto. I had no trouble identifying which dishes were vegan because of the icons they use to code their menu items.

The three of us decided to order a la carte rather than the set meals so that we could have more freedom choosing what we wanted. Everything was carefully prepared and tasted delicious. I wanted to bring my mom with me at some point in the near future. Given the dim sum genre, it’s quite normal for the dishes to be small in size: this is not a family-style restaurant. Rather, go there to enjoy some tea and leisurely chat with friends for an hour or two while grazing on the dumplings, savory and sweet cakes, and vermicelli noodles. My absolute favorite thing was a savory taro cake (芋頭糕), which was bursting with taro. The savory daikon radish cake (蘿蔔糕) was also some of the best I’d tasted.

The staff were attentive and welcoming, which rounded out the experience. I’ll be coming back!

Pros: many vegan options, clearly marked menu, amazing dim sum dishes

If you are Chinese go. Foreigner do not go

If you are a hungry foreigner it makes no sense to go. Food you order small portion for to much money. Stuff friendly, but cannot speak englisch. Not sure its vegan or vegetarian or with meat. If you want normal food, do not go. Watch my pictures here what i ate and watch my yt channel about vegan liefstyle travel tips: Ernest Berlot vegan liefstyle

Pros: Friendly , Chinese Restaurant

Cons: Small food

Nice tea

Zhu Li Guan is a nice vegetarian dim sum restaurant that has been around for more than 20 years. It has a quiet ambiance both outside and inside. If you're looking for a nice Chinese-style restaurant to enjoy a slow meal with high-quality tea, this would be a great place for you.

My friends and I got set meals to save ourselves the trouble of going over the whole menu. Each dish was quite small so if you usually eat a lot, order more.

Pros: nice food

Cons: portion sizes are pretty small, dishes with milk aren't specified on the menu
