Very delicious, and very friendly staff - Edit
We've lived in Dali for a month, and visited the restaurant probably more than 10 times. The staff is very friendly. If you come with six people or more, they have separate rooms in 2nd floor. The menu has pictures, so even if you don't speak Chinese, it's easy to order. They also sell organic staples (millet, lentils, etc) there.

Dumpling delight - Edit
We were in the area so tried this place, menu is in Chinese but a very helpful member of staff spoke a little English & helped us order. We got corn soup which was bland, the pumpkin greens were tasty & the dumplings excellent. Then I spotted a customer with a plate of 3 big fried dumpling type things, I took a photo, went down stairs & ordered 3 for 8rmb. These things did not disappoint, filled with spring onions, mushroom & noodles, so good, never had anything like it before.

Great vegan chinese dishes - Edit
This restaurant is located in a nice area not far away from the Dali university. They offer tasty vegan chinese dishes with a nice atmosphere and good prices.
