I’ve been in Karlstad for 2 weeks with my work. I’ve been here almost every day and I’ve tried all of their vegan menu. Everything is absolutely delicious including their fika!! I’m grateful that Zest exists ❤️ Thank goodness ❤️

Vegan restaurant with non-vegan options - Edit
My favourite is the big breakfast including a vegan yoghurt bowl, a tomato sandwich, a seasonal juice and a coffe or tea for 129kr (around 11.50 €). Also, they have a great selection of fully vegan cake dessert. As the title says, the place feels more like a vegan restaurant with non-vegan options. Vegan dumplings also great choice.

Very good food. We went for lunch. Its a cosy place to eat. Multiple vegetarian and vegan choices. Also vegan cake and chocolate. I had the soup of the week, a spinach soup with cracker and hummus and sallad. And also the vegetable dumplings were very good.

The restaurant is super cute and nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. The food was incredible. Loads of vegan options. Drank the best chai I’ve ever had. It was so creamy and flavorful. The gluten free vegan dumplings were super tasty! Best dumplings ever! The lentil stew was also delicious. Highly recommend this place!!!

Just had a light lunch and enjoyed every bite especially their raw/vegan strawberry cheesecake! OMG - probably one of the better raw/vegan cakes I've ever had. I also tried one of their vegan salads (I forget the name as they don't have an English menu) with their homemade avocado dressing. It was fresh and tasty! This place is definitely a must try while in Karlstad (and really the only fresh/healthy option in town). The only downfall is that there is no English menu but the staff is happy to translate.

Read moreI had the Vegetable dumplings (6 pieces) and they were delicious! They were generously stuffed and came with the best dip sauce ever. It was not too spicy or salty and had a hint of sweetness. Perfect.
I will definitely come back and try their coffee and desserts!♡

Small restaurant near the Lars Lerin Gallery. Cosy interiors and health focused. Good quality, I had a Mexican dish with black beans, nachos, beetroot sauce, avocado and lots of salad. It seemed all vegan to me when I went. All the dishes on the board were vegan. Nice and refreshing. Recommended.

Lovely place, the interior is very cozy and the staff is super friendly. A large part of the menu is vegan so you have lots of options to choose from. They also have gluten free options. The food feels fresh and the desserts are really good. This is my go to place whenever I'm in town.

Great place, lies somewhat off but not too far from centrum. The food tastes good but it is pretty expensive, therefore I only give it 3 stars. Staff is friendly :)
