Great food.. meh service - Edit
The food is delicious but the service left something to be desired. The staff was behind the bar most of the time and did not check in. Seating took a while and so did getting the check. Loved the food!

Best Ethiopian food in South Bay - Edit
I would give Zeni’s five stars if it didn’t serve meat. We get the veggie special each time and it’s delicious. Lots of interesting tasty flavors and it’s very filling on the injera bread.

The Best Ethiopian Food - Edit
My partner and I each ordered the vegetarian combo (which is vegan), and it was so delicious. The restaurant even served our meals on a sharing platter. It was the first time that I went to an Ethiopian place that actually serves the food how it was meant to be served!
Read moreThe portions are huge, so one combo is plenty for two!

Great Taste - Edit
This place is awesome! Had the vegetarian (=vegan) combo and it was absolutely delicious! Many different flavors and perfect level of spiciness for me😄staff was very friendly and were able to recommend the most popular vegan options.

Excellent value, tasty food with generous portions - Edit
We have eaten at Zeni's twice. The first time we had the sambussa appetizers, vegetarian combo (which is all vegan) and a side of Shuro Wat. For 5 adults, 2 of the combo along with the appetizers and extra side was more than enough food. The meal is served family style. You use the "bread" called injera to eat with your hands. My son described the injera as being crepe like, but sour dough flavored.
Read moreThe second time we came, 5 days later, we ordered our 3 of our favorites and the side of Shuro Wat. Again the service and food were fantastic. We will definitely be going back to Zeni's.
Pros: Tasty food, Very friendly staff
Cons: Baklava is made with honey so we didn't get any
