A Triumphant Return - Edit
For a long time, when I first arrived in the UAE, this purveyor of Levantine loveliness was my staple place to order from. Then, the standard waned a little and it was put on what turned out to be a very extended hiatus. Today I decided to give it another spin and I was richly rewarded for my faith. A number of the items had undergone significant improvements, most noticeably the falafel and the impossible pita, both of which were far more moist and unctuous than their previous iterations. Another item that seriously impressed, which was a new addition to the line-up, was the lentils salad. It was texturally excellent, deceptively light, and some wonderful bright notes to it thanks to the pomegranate seeds. The only slight negative from what was otherwise a cracking feast was the lentil soup. Whereas previously this was one best things that they offered due to its creaminess and depth of flavour, now was a touch muddled and lacked the vibrancy it one had.

Nice Levant food spot - Edit
We visited here on a busy evening but were well served with a good range of food: muhammara (with bread), zateer fatayer, a falafel platter, and Not-a-chicken shawarma. All were delicious with generous portions.
