Serves meat, vegan options available. Local pizza and macaroni place. Guests are given complimentary "zuggets" upon seating, but let your waiter know that you'd like the vegan zuggets (puffs of dough to dip in marinara). Vegan pizza dough choices include a thick crust and has house made vegan pizza sauce, and vegan cheese upon request. Could get the "mac thai" without chicken and mozzarella, sub extra veggies and vegan cheese; note the crouton crumb topping is spicy. Kitchen is open to alterations - ask. Reported closed February 2024.

Had High Hopes - Edit
Atmosphere should get a ZERO! We should have known from the moment we pulled in the parking lot to pull back out. Against our better judgement we walked inside. Ugh. We were greeted with a host "stand" indicating to wait to be seated. We waited and waited (ignored). There was what we thought was an unbussed, dirty table in the entrance but come to find out it's reserved for dead soldiers. It's a dirty table with a plate full of sugar/salt and a dried up lemon slice, that's how you honor the dead? Virtue signaling bs.
Read moreThe server (blue hair) was friendly enough and knowledgeable about veganism (she is the only one who deserves any kind of recognition. I felt bad leaving on her like we did but there was no way in he11 we were going to stay and eat there.). 15 minutes after putting in our order we seen no one making food, smelt no good smells and got to sit next to not only one, but 2 dirty tables for 15 minutes (we were the only table in the restaurant!).
The arguing we heard was the final straw. We left.
We drove 30 minutes just to dine here based upon happy cow reviews. Huge disappointment.
Pros: Vegan options, Blue haired waitress
Cons: Brick and mortar atmosphere , Lack of urgency, Serves meat and dairy

Yum! - Edit
Second time here. Got a vegan Mac first. Was more like noodles and marinara with cheese melted on top. Second time asked for the zuggets to have cheese on the side to make them vegan and got a vegan pizza! Was nice to have this option. Also loved the inside, reminded me of a childhood pizza joint.

So good! - Edit
Had the Za Thai with no chicken (it doesn’t come with cheese). So delicious even with a gluten free crust.

We tried the vegan Thai Mac, vegan super v pizza, and the zuggets. I like that they put so many toppings on the pizza! Everything was spot on!

Good number of vegan options - Edit
I went here awhile back with my parents and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Fun place for kids to eat, with the way the restaurant is decorated with superheros. Options include some unique flavor combinations and the restaurant staff was very friendly.

Great Pizza! - Edit
Super friendly and attentive to vegan detail - something that I've found to be pretty rare around these parts. Not to mention tasty!

Only place in town with a vegan menu - Edit
Love this place. Everyone is always very friendly and they keep the Great Lakes porter on draft (my fave). Found out the wedges are vegan and that was a game changer. I get the potato wedge pizza done up with classic sauce, v cheese, wedges, broccoli, onions, garlic and sometimes jalapeños. I get it every time.

Labeled Vegan Menu - Edit
Zaronis doesn't seem like a place that would offer good vegan options, but they totally do! We got a 14" vegan pizza with onions and green peppers for $20. The hand tossed crust is super good. I will have to go back and try the vegan mac and cheese, because it sounded so good!

Lots of Vegan Options - Edit
Zaroni's Is a Macaroni and Pizza Pub. It definitely was a huge help to happen to get a vegan server. We had a spicier Thai Mac dish and got their smallest, thickest crust veggie pizza which was the best pizza I've had in as long as I can remember. Oh, and their "zuggets" were complimentary and she had them made vegan for us. They were soft pillows of dough (think cotton balls). All spectacularly delicious food!

Best vegan place in Oshkosh - Edit
Most places in Oshkosh mayyybe have one Vegan option. Generally I have to repeatedly get that one option or drive up to Appleton. But these guys have three vegan pizzas and they’re very accommodating. They even are happy to be a little bit more careful since I have a peanut allergy (being vegan with a peanut allergy can be pretty awful). I highly recommend the vegan delight. I would rate five stars but unfortunately this app will only allow a maximum of four stars for places that serve meat as well. But they definitely earn those four out of a possible four stars!

ZaRonis Thanks You! - Edit
Thank you so much for coming in! We would like to point out that the vegan cheese is very expensive for us. That being said, if you would rather not have it we do offer a discount. 10"-$3.00 off, 14"-$4.50, 16"-$6.00 and $2.00 for the mac. Really wanted to give you a lot of flavor. We did set all of our vegan prices with a roughly 20% discount vs. if you ordered it that way from scratch.
Read moreI would also like to let you know that you can get an extra $2.00 off your meal by bringing in a nonperishable food item. We donate all the items to our local food pantry and have raised over 5000 pound of food for them already.

unique vegan slices - Edit
They have a great vegan menu of pizza and mac and cheeze, with unique flavor combos like Thai peanut sauce and avocado on pizza. They set the vegan menus out at the front counter so you don't even have to ask for one. We had the "It's not easy being green" and "veggie delight" pizzas, and both were amazing and come highly recommended. The complimentary vegan zuggets were also delicious. Arguably the most vegan-friendly place in Oshkosh. Nice decor of superheros in the resturant, and plenty of arcade games including Ms. Pacman.
Read moreMy only complaint (besides that they're not 100% vegan) is that the vegan options are much more expensive than the non-vegan, about $5-$6 more. Of course vegan cheese is more expensive and not bought in as bulk as their cows cheese, so a price increase is expected and completely understandable. Ultimately, I don't think the price was anything outrageous, and the food was worth it.
Pros: lots of vegan options
