I’ve eaten at the Newcastle and Durham branches so it was good to get a chance to come to this one and compare notes. All meals can effectively be made as vegan without cheese and if you go for the sweet potato chilli main filling plus the bean and rice options are vegan anyway. I went for a spicy burrito with hot salsa, jalapeños and guacamole with Cajun fries which I drizzled with the plentiful Cholula hot chipotle sauce. Very filling and immensely enjoyable.

Best fast food 🌯 - Edit
My favourite fast food chain 🌯 If you like Mexican food you'll love Zap's. I was really excited to hear that they had a new location in Dalton park, because everytime I go to Newcastle I always have to pop in.
Read moreThey have quite a few different veggie options to choose from (I love the halloumi sweet potato burrito) unfortunately not a whole lot of vegan options though, as with a lot of mexican recipes theres a lot of cheese 🧀
