As a middle eastern person: this falafel is not good. The flavor and texture are off and it’s dry. I tried to like it by going a second time but ultimately decided it was not for me. I could see someone who hasn’t had good falafel enjoying this place. They have a good amount of options, but kind of pricy. Service is great though.

I love Zameen! - Edit
I've visited the Capitola Zameen location more often but had the occasion to come to the Aptos location this evening. I got the falafel bowl which I always love. It's huge and has big falafel balls, tons of yummy greens, pickled onions and olives and garbanzo beans served with a vinaigrette on it and a side of tahini dressing. Next time I'll skip the vinaigrette because the tahini dressing is delicious as is.
Read moreThis time we also got the sweet potato fries and the are unlike any I've had before. They were very well seasoned and has some texture. They are served with a container of a walnut pomegranate dipping sauce that is vegan and so good.
This is definitely a great place for a meal. You can sit inside or there is patio seating outside.
