Who can complain about farm fresh organic veggies? Not me!
They're only about a mile north of 9 mile and right off the road. You can't go into them, but they have multiple greenhouses you can see where they grow the produce.
It's essentially a shed by the side of the road, but don't let that deter you! It's very clean and well kept, with refrigerated options as well. None of the veggies appeared over or under ripe, they all looked just right! I got tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, green beans, onions... A little bit of everything! I typically chop up or mix my veggies, but the tomatoes were so good I ate one whole by itself. Yum!
Be sure to bring a container to get your goods and further help the environment. They have plastic bags available (which is convenient, but I try to avoid plastic if possible) and they even offer reusable cloth bags for sale. I ended up going back to my car and found a box because I left my reusable bags at home, oops...
The items are all sorted into different containers with prices in front, but they do ask that you leave the containers so they can recycle and continue to use them.
As I went to leave, they have a drop box for cash (honor system) and I was so surprised, they even have an option to pay with Venmo so that was super convenient for someone like me who rarely carries cash!
I'll definitely pop in there again, I'm curious to see the varying veggies that they'll carry. Definitely recommend!
