Great venue, average food

Yummy is located in the centre of Sapa and it was just a few steps from our hotel which is why we decided to have lunch there before leaving Sapa. The venue is great, you can even sit upstairs on a balcony to enjoy the fantastic view of the mountains (we did not do this since we wished to sit inside).
The staff were very friendly. They did not know what vegan meant, but understood when we asked about egg and milk in the dishes we chose, and their English was generally very good. There is a large choice of vegetarian dishes and most looked vegan to us (as said, better confirm with the staff).

We chose the roasted tofu with salt and the braised aubergine with tofu. Both dishes were ok, but nothing more. They were a bit bland and nothing special. Still, they filled us up for our journey back to Hanoi.

Great food with a great view

A had the tofu sizzler here which was so tasty! We sat upstairs and had a great view overlooking the mountains. They had quite a few veg/vegan options and the owners were really nice and helpful.
