Free food and drink

This restaurant is very welcoming. In fact it's a Chain offering people free food, there is another one also listed in Fuzhou (The rainflower). Its open to all rich and poor a like. Their moto is you eat together like one big family. If you're a foreigner you will be a super star because it's off the beaten track.

The menu is is set. You'll be given a bowl and chopsticks and then will stand in line to be served whatever they cooked that day.

Basically a good serving of rice or noodles and fresh vegetables. They will also come around and give you some soup.

They require that you eat everything on your plate (or bowl) and then after add a little water and drink from that bowl to show respect. This is very important.

I definitely recommend going for an authentic Chinese experience. Keep in mind they only speak Chinese so be prepared for communication issues.

Due to many people going, you might be required to queue and watch a small video before being served.

Pros: It's free, You can eat and drink as much as you like

Cons: Can get a local experience, Opening closing times are limited
