Look for bright yellow sign YOUTA. There's a stall near railroad and a stall near Soi 70. Youta is a chain of food stalls serving veggie food from vegetable curries and imitation fish red curry to fresh corn fritters and bananas & sticky rice cooked in a banana leaf on the charcoal bbq. Previous locations at Soi 88 and Soi 6 have both shut. Reported closed, Dec 2019.

There were three veg places on this street when i visited last year. One is gone and I think it's this one.

Nice Soups and Atmosphere

Found this, and another 'jai' eatery, along Soi Phrom-Suke (off Soi 70). Decent quay teow nam and su ki (noodle soups), somewhat lacklustre buffet fare.

Pros: friendly service, nice (if small) soups, central location

Cons: not the tastiest dishes with rice

Tasty, cheap, fake meat, spicy

My boyfriend and I found the place by coincidence. All I can say is that the Basil Fried Rice (35 baht) is one of the best dishes we've eaten in Thailand!

Pros: Nice people/owner, Ask if you want spicy or not, Very cheap

Vegetarian food in Hua Hin

We were delighted to find this tiny road-side foodstall and visited almost every day during our stay in Hua Hin, where every other restaurant is seafood. The owner is friendly and welcoming and the menu varies daily - inexpensive, hearty and flavoursome vegetarian fare.

Pros: 100% veggie, Cheap, Hearty food

Cons: Only open during the day

Dessert: delicious charcoal baked sticky-rice with yams or bananas, wrapped in banana leaves at Youta Vegetarian Food Stall in Hua Hin

Lunch: Imitation Fishcakes, Corn Fritters, Thai veggie Curry, Brown Rice at Youta Vegetarian Food Stall in Hua Hin
