This is a nice option if you are looking for an upscale option while in San Juan. There were three vegan options on the menu- a fried tofu appetizer, a poke bowl, and a sushi roll.
They were out of the tofu, so they offered edamame instead. (Which was fine, but I was really bummed not to try the tofu.) I opted for the sushi roll, which was also fine but not overly remarkable.
there are some vegan options, but definitely not 6-8, more like 2-4... although they are somewhat limited they are also yummy. i liked the veggie roll and loved the yasai donburi. make sure the sauces are on the side as some of them are traditional aiolis. the cocktails are absolutely insane, you must go for them alone ♡
Went Saturday and had to return Wednesday. Just as good. Reminded us of ABCV in NY in terms of quality. Spoke to Chef/Owner and was he was completely into adding more vegan options. The Gyoza, the Eggplant, the Fried Rice, the Shishito peppers were all excellent. Service was really good. Covid awareness top notch. Reservation only for now. If in Puerto Rico, give it a try. Won't be disappointed.
