Off the beaten track

Yogis not only sells fresh organic fruit and vegetables every day but also offers local dishes at lower prices than the more touristy restaurants with a view of the lake. We shopped and ate here all week long - often while watching the sleeping family dog and neighbourhood cats wandering around the rice field. After I had tried all the vegan options, it was easy to get eggs replaced with tofu and tempeh in nasi/mee goreng because they are mentioned on the menu. Also delivers meals to Toba Cats Garden.

Pros: good value, friendly staff, great location
