Local community!

Magic, and worth waiting for. Currently open Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon. Check their Instagram for what they have that day and when their hours will be.
Farm stand is staffed by super awesome local high schoolers learning about farming and related subjects. Money raised goes to benefit this program!

Pros: Great value, Bringing fresh produce to midtown , EBT accepted

Cons: Only bread option is very expensive , Not everyone working knows how to run an EBT card

Vegetables and stand are great

This Midtown Kingston farm stand is a great place to find fresh, local, inexpensive veggies. This stand is part of a remarkable project by a community nonprofit. Veggies includes healthy green and leafy vegetables in January. The Y Farm Project stand takes a long hiatus after the winter-market season. Offers a remarkable selection of locally grown veggies at reasonable prices, along with great blueberries on a visit when they were in season. Full Tuesday and Thursday stand hours began this year (2021) in June. The Tuesday stand is located in front of the Child Care entrance on Pine Grove Ave., while the Thursday stand takes place in the building's lobby, inside the rear door, which opens onto the Y parking area. In turn, the parking lot is accessible via an entrance on Pine Grove Ave. Sometimes a fairly long line. Masks required inside. Bring your own shopping bags. May easily be worth the trek if you live near Kingston.
