Serves meat, vegan options available. You could request to substitute tofu for meat in a dish. Previously located at 911 Boundary St. Open Tue-Fri 11:00am-2:00pm, Tue-Sat 4:30pm-8:30pm.
Nothing is marked vegan/vegetarian on the menu but they can make anything except the curries vegan. Ordered the cashew nut dish with tofu. Food was fine but the sauce was sweeter than I'm used to and the tofu was a bit tough.
Please be warned that they are not very knowledgeable about veganism. I was reassured that the sauces were vegan- they're not. The steamed basil rolls sauce contains dairy. I also had the Thai salad which was awful. The lettuce was browning and the tofu was just hard lumps. Not impressed at all.
Food was very tasty. Added tofu to our choices when we asked. Also was informed when I asked about gluten free. Slightly higher in price than other places but not unreasonable. Server was friendly enough
We had a wonderful dinner at Yes! Thai Indeed, in no small part due to the energetic, charming young wait staff who were just a delight.
The food was excellent. We are from a west coast city with an abundance of excellent to outstanding Thai restaurants, so have high expectations. We started with the Freshly Steamed Basil Rolls with the chefs 'special sauce'. Light yet very flavorful. We shared the Pad See Ew (sauteed flat rice noodles and broccoli in black bean sauce) and the Sauteed Mixed Vegetables (with fresh garlic sauce and Thai herbs), both of which were very flavorful and cooked just right (vegetables not soggy or undercooked and noodles perfect density).
The restaurant itself is compact yet does not feel crowded. The have white linen tablecloths, and nice glass and dinnerware, giving a more upscale feel than the average Thai restaurant.
The restaurant is set back from the road and the sign is small so easy to miss it.
