Bomb sushi in AZ! They have a separate vegan sushi menu with many options and they accommodate a few other dishes like the fried rice and noodles to be vegan upon request.

This is the best vegan sushi you’ll get for the price! Haven’t gotten one thing I didn’t like. My favorite rolls are the vegan shrimp tempura roll and the sweet potato roll. And their spicy mayo is sooo good.

The sushi we had was not authentic Japanese sushi by any stretch of the imagination… which is completely fine! We wish we could find vegan sushi this inventive and delicious in Japan. Friendly service, nice ambience. A little pricey but worth it.

I didn't think there could be any real comparison between vegan and non vegan sushi but this this restaurant proved me wrong. I could not tell the difference. Absolutely fantastic with great staff and a cozy environment.

I normally hate going to sushi restaurants because of the lack of variety for vegans. They recently came out with a fully vegan menu and the options are INCREDIBLE! Definitely worth a visit and will be coming back for more. The spicy monsoon roll was my favorite.

I was visiting a non-vegan friend in Arizona- we stopped in here so we could both get sushi. The wings were super cool and had a really meaty texture, but I LOVED the vegan shrimp monsoon roll!! I wish there was a Yanagi in Dallas!!

Highlight of our trip to Arizona - Edit
OMG, if you live in this area I'm so jealous. This sushi was so freaking delicious. The popcorn shrimp was unbelievable! The spicy tuna was spot on as well, and the fried rolls were amazing. I would eat here all the time out I lived here.

They have a vegan section in their menu with 8 options. I had the crispy rice cakes, veggie delight roll, and shrimp monsoon roll. We also had spicy edamame and vegetable tempura for an appetizer. Everything was delicious! I am visiting from out of state and this restaurant has become a necessary stop whenever I’m in town. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because it’s not a fully vegan establishment.

I go here all the time. I usually get 2 monsoon “shrimp” rolls and sometimes I’ll add the shrimp app as well depending on how much of a fat ass I want to be.

Read moreVEGAN WINGS - served on what looked and tasted like a cassava or yucca stick. These wings had a great taste and a nice consistency - not too chewy. They were served with vegan mayo, which I mixed with wasabi to create a spicy mayo. This made for a yummy topping. I would like to see them offer a vegan buffalo sauce or honey mustard as a dipping sauce for these. 10/10 would order this again.
VEGAN CRUNCHY SHRIMP - very good! Like the wings, the texture was spot on and not chewy. It was also served with vegan mayo. The waitress suggested mixing it with sriracha sauce, but she never brought any. I'd like to see a better dipping sauce option being served with this dish. 10/10 would order again though.
VEGAN SPICY TUNA ROLL - loved this roll. The vegan tuna was very good and flavorful. No weird aftertaste. 10/10 would order again.
VEGAN CRISPY RICE ROLL - This roll isn't a roll at all. It's vegan tuna atop a crispy mini rice patty, topped with a jalapeño slice and a dollop of sriracha. Cute and yummy but why on God's green earth is it $12.99? Is there a happy hour special on this one? If so, I'd order it again, during happy hour.
MONSOON ROLL - you can get this roll with or without shrimp. We did without since we were trying other vegan shrimp items. This roll is deep-fried and comes with avocado, asparagus, tofu, and seaweed. I didn't really care for the seaweed, but I really enjoyed the roll. Maybe I'll get it without the seaweed next time. It is messy and fell apart easily... Just an FYI.
SHRIMP HANDROLL - Because of the way it's rolled, you cannot split it, so I just scooped out some of the filling to taste it. It was just ok; I would not order this one again.
Service was good and the food came out lightning fast. Definitely a top contender for vegan sushi options in the PHX area.

their veggie delight roll is DELICIOUSS. has a sweet ginger sauce on it, which i think makes the roll. they have drumsticks too that come with a vegan mayo, and they’re yummy but i wish they added sauces to the drumsticks. either way, my hubby and i love this place!!

Vegan options were great, however they packaged one of the vegan rolls in with my husband’s non-vegan roll and it ended up with dairy, salmon, and juice soaked into it from being pressed next to each other...so that was pretty disappointing. Next time I’ll be sure to specify to keep the vegan items completely separated from the non-vegan.

This was my first time coming to a sushi place since going vegan. I had to travel a little bit but it was so worth it! I loved my rolls! They were delicious and I was thrilled that they had more then one option. I will definitely be back! I love and miss sushi but this places rolls were so good I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything... I highly recommend, and my husband a meat eater said he loved his options too!
