Delicious!

Great food, healthy and completely different from any other restaurant I’ve ever been to. Very kind staff as well. Texture of mushrooms was amazing and the taco was soooo good!

mind blowing!

This place is so unique. Our visit left me so happy and nourished. The menu is so so clever and well designed, we tried lots of different plates and they were all absolutely DELICIOUS. So flavoursome. Which is very rare for such healthy food. The guys who run the kitchen are incredibly knowledgable and lovely. They shared lots of interesting facts with us about the ingredients. We learnt a lot. It’s amazing to see this kind of food, culture and ancestral appreciation being championed in Liverpool. 100000% recommend to everyone!

New fave vegan place in Liverpool

It feels rare to go to a restaurant with such an emphasis on well cooked whole foods, and making gorgeous food but really thinking about how to make it healthy.

This is what we love Happy Cow for, this place is so new and we wouldn’t have found it without it - the menu has an “ancestral” African twist that we’ve not had before, along with lovely space (inside what is open during the day as Coffee and Fandisha), great music and a lovely chef who it was great to have a chance to chat to directly! The food was tasty, fresh, healthy, varied - favourites were theberry smoothie, the combo of jollof fonio with ancestral wrap, and the wrap, with huge crispy oyster mushroom (so tasty we got a second to take home). Looking forward to being back in Liverpool so we can come back!

Pros: Chatting to the lovely chef , The uniqueness of menu - not had this anywhereelse, Gorgeous food

One of a Kind

Don't be surprised if you don't see Yamm Tree written anywhere, it's in the same spot as Coffee & Fandisha. The food is well worth the trip! The meal deal consisting of C food wrap, birria taco, and choco fudge shake was as tasty as it was filling. A very good deal! Personal favorite was the taco but all parts were uniquely delicious.

Unique Goodness

The food was nothing like we have ever had before. So healthy, tasty and filling.
They helped me choose from the menu and explained it all. Lots of choice and will be back to eat the rest! Brilliant meal deals that are value for money and give you a taste of a range of the foods they offer.
I loved the fact the venue was used for another business during the day so overheads and facilities are shared and it’s eco friendly.
Venue decorated very nicely too and intimate.
The two guys were very polite and knowledgeable, made the experience much better.

Pros: Something Different, No grease involved! 100% vegan , Wholesome

Cons: Literally nothing.

Worth the wait

Great value food made by enthusiastic staff. I had the £15 meal deal birria taco, conscious wrap and shake. Very substantial. Looking forward to my next visit to Liverpool.

Pros: Enthusiastic team, Great food, Value for money

Cons: Quite a wait for food but no problem

So glad I found this place

Very glad I found this place on my stay in Liverpool. I usually eat home-cooked meals only, but having arrived so late I didn’t have time to make myself a meal. The meals Abraham has, you can tell they’re nutritious and made with love & care. Everything is plant-based, many alkaline ingredients are used as well. The taco was my favourite (for now.. I’ll be back soon)
